Welcome to Splat Reference!
This is a resource archive for Splatoon references that you always need and never have on hand. The blog focuses on documenting stages, details, backgrounds and surroundings of stages and parts of the world, and weapon poses. The focus of the blog is to be a reference for artists to streamline the process of making Splatoon art!
No longer actively updated. Might have occasional haunted ghost posts apparently though.
References are from every game in the series and will be added over time, with Splatoon 3 having the most comprehensive documentation due to being the easiest to work with. Viewer submissions are also welcomed through the ask box!
This blog will not be including gear references or character references, as those are things readily available on the Internet in many cases, including model turnarounds. You will find most of these things documented on Inkipedia, for example. Other than that, suggestions are welcomed!
I hope everyone can find a use out of the blog!
