@faithiiii + anyone who is curious enough to know what happened: YEEEEARS AGO, I met this girl on Deviantart that went by the username ‘Theicarlyangel’. As you can tell, she loves iCarly and the character Angel from The Lady and The Tramp 2. When I first met her, she was one of the nicest and most respectable people I had met on that hellsite. Or at least I thought. She probably turned out to be one of the bitchiest I had ever met. Anyway, I discovered a few days later that she was more or less homophobic. When I found that out, I had a nice chat with her about it that actually went pretty well! I had identified as bisexual at the time and she knew that and she said she still liked me and that she only “disagreed” with homosexuality and had nothing against homosexuals or anything. Not wanting to lose a new friend, I let it go and just accepted it. Later, I ended discovering that she had said stuff along the lines of wanting gay people to just disappear or die “along with the rest of the SJWS and weeaboos.” Anyhow, not just me, but several other of her LGBTQ and cishet ally friends questioned her about those remarks and she claimed she made those when she was younger and didn’t know any better. Most of us (probably out of hope more than anything) chose to be stupid enough to believe her. Anyway, as the friendship progressed, she’d have her good moments and her bad moments. She’d sometimes lose her temper and lash out at people and immediately assumed that they were “the no good gay sjw!”. She would also claim that she “was being oppressed for being heterosexual!!!”(Hence, the whole “PROTECT STRAIGHT MARRIAGE!!!!!!1!!” Her friends and I would have to step in and say something to calm her down and tell her that not everyone she fights with is gay or an sjw. But then, she could have some good moments where she seemed to be turning a more open-minded corner. At one point, she even said she kind of supported gay parenting. At one point, her friends and I FINALLY saw her for what she was. I remember one day I want to her profile page and it was LOADED with homophobic and transphobic shit all over her fucking page. I shouldn’t have been shocked, but I was. I was her friend and she seemed to be turning a corner the last time I spoke to her and to see this was actually kind of terrifying. Actually, in all honesty, I cried. I cried for a really long time. I felt so betrayed. I thought she was a friend who loved me and her other friends regardless of their sexual and romantic orientaion or gender identity too much to do something like this. Another sad thing about this is that she used her religion as an excuse. She said she had “re-found” Christianity. I looked at the comments on her profile and so many people were upset. INCLUDING her cishet Christian friends. Hell, even I had to express how hurt I was. Of course, when people did, she accused us of “blaming our mental disorders” on her and blocked us. Just like that, the months of built up friendship she had with a bunch of people was obliterated. Of course, when she lost about all of her friends, she got into a group with transphobic and homophobic Christian extremists that were also pretty openly hateful on Deviantart. Wow. I didn’t mean to turn this into a depressing tale of woe or anything lol. On a lighter note, she did some weirdass things. She had a crush on Wakko or whatever his name is from The Warner Brothers and shipped him with Angel. You could probably find them on YouTube. Oh yeah, and she did a lot of weird Sonic and Warrior Cats ship art too. Plus, she loved to ship Carly with her older brother, Spencer, too lmao.
