You were recently mentioned in an interview with Trae the Truth; in it, he says that you and Rasheed mentored him early on. Any thoughts on that? Well, hearing you read a little bit of the article to me I’m very surprised, in a really good way, that me and Rasheed were able to mentor him. I didn’t know that Trae hung out with us when he was young. I don’t remember him as a kid, I only know him from listening to his music and being a huge fan of his, and having so much love for him. It’s crazy, because I always felt connected to him.

Jaime F. asked, “What happened to those songs "Life" and "Beat from Hotan" Those songs sound really dope..are we getting them in your next album? Can't wait to hear them one day.” Thank you for your question, Jaime. Life is now called "Dark Memories", and "Beat from Hotan" is still called "Beat from Hotan". I will most definitely have them on the next project. They both have samples and we had problems clearing the samples, so that’s why those songs have been in limbo. But, I’m positive we can get it all cleared up and I’m thankful that you’re excited about those songs and what is to come.

My Ghetto Girl, The situation with Pain selling my verses, and all the drama it’s created with people who are close to me, has saddened me. I’ve been tough with Carolyn, because she should have simply apologized for the wrong she did. Instead, she’s trying to act like she kept it 100 with me. What’s true is that I’ve kept it 100 with her, putting her on every track that needed a female vocalist.

As far as if Carolyn did anything wrong or not, she most definitely did. She used one unauthorized verse that I found out about. She knew that she was not supposed to use it, and I warned her and Jaime not to EVER take a verse without permission. You just don’t do that. I said, “I’m going to let it go”, and then she asked me if she could use material from a song called “I Remember”, I told her no. A couple of weeks later she asked again and I said no, because I have a lot of plans for that song. Now I don’t know how long “I Remember” has been out, but she used it anyway. So, that right there is enough.

This is a phone call between myself and SPM from 10/31/2015. As always, I apologize for any transcription errors. Anonymous asked, "Los, Carolyn is also selling Dope House lighters and wood pendants, Spm shirts, Son of Norma cds with her autograph. Did you know about that? or is she stealing here too?" Um, no, I didn’t know about the lighters. I specifically asked her what she was selling, and she said all that she was selling was locs. I said, “Weren’t you selling t-shirts also?” and she said, “I was, but no, I’m not anymore.” She told me nothing about lighters. I did tell her and I told a lot of people that I wanted to sell those; Dope House Records lighters, and all kinds of merchandise. But, I want to do original designs. I don’t want to just buy generic lighters and locs and have them stamp ‘Dope House Records’ on them.

Let me start by reminding you that I love you, and I need you, and I thank God for you. Your love and support is like nothing I can explain, like nothing the music industry has ever seen. It’s unfailing, and long suffering, and it gives me the power to stay strong. Fam,

I want to share a situation with you because I need your help. About a year ago the left side of my face felt like it was going numb, and so did my left arm. This happened while I was on the Allred Unit. They took me to the hospital that same night and after several tests, including an MRI (which is like a brainscan) they couldn’t find anything wrong. But ever since that day I’ve felt that same numbness on the left side of my face. Now, I’m on Pack One Unit in Navasota Texas and this medical condition is getting worse. About three months ago I was in the dayroom doing some exercises and I busted my head on this steel air condition vent. My head was split open, I needed stitches but all they did was clean it and bandage it. Let me just say that the worst thing that can happen to you in prison is that your health fails. The medical personnel will literally let you die if you don’t have any outside support to get their attention.
