Okay, guys. We've got a few announcements.

First of all, we've got a new character, Ash. He's being playing by Kerri and his tumblr is 5minstofreedom.

Ash, 21, sexually confused. He's a computer repair major with a social skills of a dry sponge. He's got ADD and a need for liquid courage, but more than anything, Ash is just looking for a home away from home. And trying to labor out from underneath the stereotype his accent gives him. A rabid gearhead, the only time he really feels confident is when he's got a wrench in hand.

Second order of business. We've got a few new secondary characters roaming around to make things a little more interesting. There's Ed Zeddmore and Harry Spangler, the co-founders of the campus ghost hunting club, Ghostfacers and Becky Rosen, resident fangirl and creator of morethanfriends.com, the most popular gossip site on campus. 

Harry and Ed are already taken, but Becky is open to whomever wants her. Her blog should consist of outrageous rumors about the group, though... so if you can't manage that, please don't take her.

Plot Post -

Characters Involved: Michael, Lucifer and Nick. However, it's quite possible it'll drag in a lot of other characters, depending on how they react.

Length:  Honestly, I don't know when this will start and when it'll end. It might go by quickly but it'll last long term effects.

There are warnings in the tag. In the "read more" there is not only background but what will hopefully happen when the truth gets spilled. 

Due to the subject at hand, it's probably going to be very dramafied. 

Background:

    The problems with Nick stem from the fact that he’s gay.   He got married because he fell in love with his wife, but he was never attracted to her sexually.  She knew this when she married him.  After getting married, Nick never had a very active sex life, and the couple already began to have marital problems when Lucifer was born.  Nick considers Lucifer the most important person in his life, and treasures him above everyone else, even his wife.   While she was relieved that Nick is such a dedicated father, it didn’t change the fact that their relationship was slowly failing.            As Lucifer began to grow older, Nick devoted himself to him.  Lack of sexual satisfaction from his relationship with his wife, coupled with depression over their failing marriage, caused Nick to latch onto Lucifer a little more than was necessary, or healthy.  While still working a part time job, Nick spent almost every waking moment with his son; manipulating his schedule so that he would be at home as much as possible while his wife was working.          Nick began having sexual attraction towards Lucifer for quite a few years before he did anything to him.  It started small, deeper, open-mouthed kisses, bathing and showering together to let Nick’s hands wander, and eventually going as far as oral sex.  While Nick has attempted penetration (with a finger), it made Lucifer too nervous, so he stopped.  His wife however, was unaware of the intensity of the encounters.          Nick’s wife walked in on Nick caressing a naked Lucifer when he was eight and a half.  The next few weeks were spent with them fighting fiercely, and eventually, Nick leaving.  Nick agreed to pay child support and gave up all rights to the house to his wife.  Nick sent presents, cards, and money to Lucifer every holiday (birthdays included), though most of them were intercepted by Lucifer’s mother.          During the years that Nick and Lucifer were separated, Nick sought the help of a therapist, and has worked through many of his issues, including his attraction to his son.  While Nick still feels the attraction to Lucifer, he has not stepped past the boundary of Father and Son again.  Now that Lucifer is back in his life, he lavishes him with attention, giving him everything he can, everything Lucifer says he needs.   Nick’s devotion may seem extreme from an outsider’s view, but Nick never wanted to hurt his son.  He loves him unconditionally, and will continue to do so no matter what happens.

  Currently/More Background:

Lucifer has blocked out all of this from his memory. It was something he couldn’t handle so his mind put up a wall, but he’s still aware. He was having his own issues at school for being bullied/not accepted so coming home to a loving father made his world go ‘round. There was a mixture of: he didn’t know that it was bad and his father was just “showing his love”. He felt like it was wrong but again, even at a young age, he didn’t want to hurt his father.     

But he loved his father just as much as his father loved him (minus the sexual attraction).

 When the abuse stopped and Lucifer realized that it was wrong, he had all the more reason to close off. Because someone he trusted hurt him like that, which is why he doesn’t remember it. This plays into why he doesn’t like being touched and why he won’t trust easily (in his mind, it’s because of the bullying).

So, in his mind, he was unaware of why his Father left and only knew about the fighting. He still loved the man. In a way, he was angry with his mother for not working out their problems. All he knew was that they fight. Still feels that way today. Trying to get Lucifer into therapy didn’t work because he refused to talk and when they brought his father up, he would go on a tangent on how much he respected the man.  

Sarah remarried and waited until Michael was old enough to handle the truth and told him what happened to Lucifer, also explaining he has no memory of it what so ever. At sixteen, Lucifer found one of the letters from his father which is was reestablished their relationship, though it was via emails because his mother refused to talk about Nick so he didn’t want her finding out and taking this away from him.

It wasn’t until he moved out for college that he met the man face-to-face. Which started off awkwardly, short coffee visits until Lucifer got it in his mind that this was just an older-version of his dad and their relationship instantly returned to how it was before. Lucifer doesn’t question the touchy-feelyness (even though nothing sexual has happened), he just knows his dad is a loveable kind of guy. Like… a puppy.

Lately, though, there have been things cracking at the wall. He isn’t as innocent as he was before, but there’s that other voice in his head telling him not to question it.

    Future Plans:     Plans are subject to change depending on how the roleplay goes.     In the middle of one of their bi-weekly fights, Michael and Lucifer find their way to the subject of being together. Having heard time and time again that it just can’t be, without so much as an explanation as to why, Lucifer has grown frustrated and demands a reason. After much bickering, Michael finally caves, yelling out that Lucifer was molested by Nick.

    After the truth comes out, Lucifer tells Michael that he has been in touch with Nick for quite some time and even stays over at his house some nights. This causes a heated argument to break out.

    In a fit of anger and disbelief, Lucifer leaves and makes his way to Nick’s, leaving Michael wondering where he stormed off to. After confirmation of the molestation, Lucifer disappears.

Time Starting/Duration - Within the next week/undertimined

Description  -  

Due to the nondeterministic nature of dream visitation, Canon Lucifer accidently finds himself in AU Sam's dream. It becomes obvious when he calls Jessica!Lucfier a bitch/life ruiner before commanding her to leave his room. Lucifer finds this amusing, so he decides to tell Sam that he's going to be responsible for ending the world in another universe, and if he doesn't play his cards right it will happen here. (Which is not entirely true. Yeah the world will end someday, but not in the same way as the canon SPN universe). 

So, he leaves Sam with a vague memory of what happened. He recognizes and feels attracted to AU Lucifer's father Nick, but doesn't know why. He feels like he has to be closer to AU Lucifer but has no reasons behind it. 

Also, Canon Lucifer visits AU Lucifer in a dream as well, now that he knows how to get there. He tells Lucifer to care for Sam as well as protect him from /anyone/ who tries to hurt him, cause that would make him /so/ happy. 

No idea how it's going to end, this is still in its plotting stages. More details will be givens as they appear.

Time Skip Updates!

Here is the stuff that happened - 

Gabriel's Two Months: He's gotten closer to Adam, bonding over their mutual love of anything Pagan related. Sam and him are still dating and haven't had much more than the usual couple fights. Gabe is depressed because of the relationship between himself and Cas, not eating and having lost a lot of weight. No one's really noticed because he still acts like himself, and that distracts everyone. Anna and Gabe have gotten closer, Anna being like a little sister to him, and him and Jo are still close friends.

Castiel: Two month skip. Over the last two months, Castiel has got considerably closer to Michael. They hang out more together with Sam, and often go drinking as a group together. Castiel kind of looks up to Michael, he's like another older brother. He's also, in a way kind of got  closer to Lucifer. Sometimes they connect and others they don't. But most of the time, Castiel does count him as a friend. Him and Dean have also grown more attached to eachother. And as for him and Gabriel... as much as it kills Castiel, he can feel him slipping through his fingers and he's holding onto water. They argue a lot, and both boys are depressed, Castiel covering his by being angry at his brother. He hates what has happened to him and pretty much blames himself. He's been talking to Sam more about moving into the Frat house, just to get away from his brother and the awkwardness, and try to  get over what happened between them. He's falling behind in his work a little, not getting his good grades as normal. He's trying to  act normal around everyone else, keeping up a happy facade. He's also got closer to Meg and is begining to see that she is not as bad as she likes to make out.

Anna has been focusing on getting better. She didn't get involved in any relationship because she doesn't feel ready. She hasn't heard from her father for long and her adoptive parents have agreed that she is safe in campus. She visits them when she can. Anna's gotten closer to Castiel and Gabriel. Gabe's like an older brother to her. She often stays at Gabriel's and spends the night there to give Jo and Balthazar some privacy. She is still uneasy around Dean, staying closer to Castiel to keep an eye on him. She's been doing things like small gatherings so that she gets comfortable around people again. She is trying to get to know everyone, including Lucifer and Meg, even if they're not the most friendly people. She has catched up with her classes and everything seems under control.

Jo's two months: Basically Jo Harvelle continued dating Bal helping him get better, remained best friends with her usual suspects, and avoided Luce like the bubonic plague.

Meg's two months:

Basically hung out with Cas more - they're organising a Rocky Horror themed party. Cas is the only one she shows her "true self" to - instead of her bitchy tough facade.  Also hung out and got to know Ruby more - both girls seemed to connect due to being outsiders and hated by a lot of people in the group. Is still trying to convince Lucifer they'd make excellent friends and trying to break through the wall Lucifer tries to put up to everyone. She thinks she might be breaking through... little by little. She is still Lucifer's dealer - has realised she doesn't want to be a dealer anymore - but is stuck as it's dealing that's paying for her college tuition.  Meg is actually started to put more focus into her Drama course - because she really loves acting ;)

During the time skip Sam: - Moves from being randomly insulted by Lucifer to being his friend. They got into a fist fight but some things said actually brought them closer. - Elected President of Theta Beta Pi. All functions and activities pertaining to the fraternity are decided by him.  - Takes a concealed weapons class. Now carries a pistol anytime he is not at a friends home or going to class. Just for protection against creepers.

Not ignoring them but this mod over here is in a shit mood like my muse. Panic attacks suck.

Past week has been dramafilled!

Let's try to get some fun going on guys, okay? Don't try to start more character angst ;D Not ordering you to, just a suggestion but let's try to get some fun going for a few days and make everyone laugh and not down in the dumps, okay?

OBVIOUSLY some characters still have things to work out. Like Lucifer and Michael for example. But, we'll try to take that off tumblr and what not. 

But in the past week we've had a crazy murderer torture people, character angst, a break up then getting back together, characters moving out then coming back, fighting, hospital visits, more fighting and fighting.

DAS JUST ONE WEEK LOL.

Let's try to do what normal college kids do and have some fun for a few days.

Again: Making this long term, don't do things right away or come off TOO STRONG. ;D all your crazy plans can and probably will happen at a later date~ Just because you thought of it now doesn't mean it has to happen this second.

Character History Changes

Get them approved before you do it! We didn't ask for histories when we asked for blurbs but if  you're doing something in your character's history that will effect their life right now in the rp? That will come back to bite them in the ass? Approve it first.

Histories fall into plot things, which need to be approved first. 

Same with side characters (like parents).

Public Service Announcement

    It was reported as of early this morning seven cars were vandalized and broken into.  There are currently no suspects.  For the next few days, we will advise students not to park their cars on the streets after dark. 

If anyone has information on who might have committed this vandalism, you may submit your information to the main office on campus.

Quick thing I thought about involving the tumblrs

If characters make a private post to themselves (or to someone else) you can do a "hackable" level.

Like [private to self 50% hackable] meaning, someone with good computer skills could have and see these entires. The higher the percentage, the harder it is. 100% means they can't do it at all.

Group Gatherings

If your character is hosting a group gathering and you have it planned a few days before the actual date? Like plots, post about it on the rp tumblrs.

Just post the link, say when it is (the date) and the time. 

These gatherings/parties do not need to be approved like plots. Posting them on the main tumblr is just nice and organized so people can see in case they miss the post your character posts about it.

Time Skip

How long is it?

In character: Two months.

Out of character: A day, not even. It begins tomorrow but only when a post appears on the tumblr. 

If you can, submit a blurb of information to the askbox explaining what your character did during this time skip, if anything. Did they fail a class? Did they rob a store or get close to someone they weren't close to before the time skip?

Do not make it long, please, we aren't asking for a huge history. Leave sex stuff out because it's kinda assumed characters still had sex. 

TLDR; List of highlights. Submit them to askbox ;D

If everyone can post here with your contact info, that'd be great.

Basically, there will be a list (private but everyone can see if they go to the rps dash) with all the contact information so you can contact people with questions if you have any.

Also, we're going to try to meet in the ooc chat every day, if possible. That way we can do group chats, get to know each other better and be crazy. You don't have to join in but it's always fun. If you can, grab yourself a chatzy account - it makes life easier :O

But if you see a Mod trying to get your attention about something, keep the off topic conversation to a minimal. 

Other than that, the ooc chat is for crazyness! JUST RESPECT EVERYONE AND DON'T BE RUDE.

Rules:

Show your fellow players respect at all times. It is encouraged to try to resolve issues between players privately, but if you feel you cannot solve it yourself, please contact a mod.

Do not do anything to another mun's characters without the mun's permission. Common courtesy, and to do otherwise would be godmodding.

When planning game-wide plots, please seek any one of the modstaff for approval before going forward with it. To do this, just pop it in the askbox. - This goes for hospital visits... Approve it before it happens. 

Side characters need to be approved from now on. Send a blurb about character and what they are there for.

Side characters are not perma-characters, keep this in mind. They exist for plot related things.
