Uhm hello! 

I’m thinking about coming back to tumblr so I’m starting to get this place cleaned up. Apparently I started another blog before I left which I wouldn’t even remember if I hadn’t read my own post from 7 years ago just now.

Not sure who even remembers me or is still around, but we’ll see! I’m not gonna start up any extra fanart blogs (like reviving my homestuck or one piece blog), that’s too much of a hassle so everything will go here. I miss sharing art and just having fun here, so that’s what will be going on on this blog!

lately I haven’t been very active with uploading art, be it my own or fanart. that is because for one, I’ve got a ton to do which leaves very little time to draw/paint and when I do, I mostly concentrate on my own. 

I’ve been wanting to start a new blog for a while and that’s happening now. I think having one platform to post everything and maybe a sideblog to reblog stuff will work better for me and creating a whole new thing is easier than reorganizing all the blogs on this account.

so if you want to keep up with my art, check out my new blog! :B 

it should be a mix of my own pieces and fanart (still probably mostly homestuck) and maybe a few personal posts from time to time. I’m not entirely sure yet!

may i ask which brushes you use? your textures are always so nice and i'm new to digital art and admire your digital art a lot

aah thanks! well my settings change a LOT so i can only show you my current ones for SAI (hardly using photoshop these days).

here are my top 3 atm:

super nice pencil brush!! found the base for this setting in a post on @ptsbrushes

my brush for most of my coloring, normally i got density on 100% 

also found this on a post on @ptsbrushes some days ago. also nice for coloring or backgrounds. so far i’ve left it mostly unaltered

and then there’s this one. been in my list for over a year now and i love it dearly.

one of the things that bugs me the most about OP is how Whitebeard wouldn’t let women on his ship or crew be fighters, like. wow. not that it’s not a general theme in OP that women should leave the fighting to the *real men* but i feel like it doesn’t fit his character to have this kind of mindset or “morals” ? or maybe that’s me idealizing him too much

i love the whitebeard pirates a lot, which is why this point makes me even angrier

I’m curious where can we find that Whitebeard wouldn’t let women fight? I hope it’s not Oda who say that because I can’t see the Pirate Withbeard with such mentality T-T
