Goodbye Gravity Falls?

Hello.  I have returned to Tumblr. This post will simply explain my return from the dark abyss of a hiatus, and will expound upon whether or not Gravity Falls will truly end.

To start, I owe an apology to my followers; I had previously quit Tumblr without providing you any notice. However, since the hiatus has come to an end, I can safely say I am back to Tumblr. Thank you for still sticking with me, even if posts have become a scarcity. I am very sorry about the issues that occurred; I have now returned.

Gravity Falls. 2 seasons, 20 episodes each, (unless you consider the second half of Weirdmageddon Part 3: Take Back the Falls Weirdmageddon Part 4: Somewhere in the Woods, then it’s 21 episodes in the second season). No matter how you look at it, Gravity falls is over. However, it might still return in some form, such as in a comic book series. As much as I’d hate to admit it, the likelihood of a short series, such as Dippers Guide to the Unexplained, Mabel’s Guide to Life, and Mabel’s Scrapbook , is very slim. Although there is arguably evidence pertaining to the premiere of a short series is present, it is not as abundant as you may hope. 

Before I continue with evidence, I would like to say that YouTubers have already recited this information, and if you are up to date, then this information could be redundant. 

To an unsuspecting viewer, Bill’s final words seem to be gibberish. However, since this is Gravity Falls, any dedicated fan would understand that a small detail such as this holds significance. Backwards, it says, “My time has come to burn, I evoke the ancient power that I may return.” 

This seems to illustrate that Bill will return, because even though he burned to death, he evokes the power that he may return, possibly signaling that the Pines family may have to take down Bill once more. 

This one is less spelled out then the last one, but Bill Cipher is a stone statue. Since further back in the episode, he could regenerate his eye, could he regenerate his entire body? This will take much longer than regenerating his eye, possibly taking millions of years, but in the future it could definitely be a threat.

To reassure you, I do not plan on doing another hiatus, and I will never undergo a hiatus without notice. I am back and I am ready to produce more content. I have some plans for future posts, but you will have to wait to see them. What do you think about Gravity Falls coming back? Provide me with evidence or theory you may have on the subject. Now before getting to deep into this, let me get everyone on the same page. It's been highly speculated that this episode will be split into two parts. One being Dipper and Stanford fighting against Bill Cipher, and the other being Mabel, Wendy and possibly Candy and Grenda finding a unicorn. We can see in the look ahead teaser, that a picture of a unicorn is shown. This probably means that they will find a unicorn. However, exactly where they are, how they found it has not been confirmed. It's also safe to say that the Cipher file, and the big opening to the secret basement will be in this episode due to the teaser. So that's all that you have missed if you weren't up to date.

Now on to the theory. In the picture I listed above you can see three major things. One being Stanford standing in the middle of Bill Cipher be summoned. Another being Stanford stepping back in front of a sea. Finally, a picture of a light beam similar to the portal is shown on the right. The easiest one to explain would be the picture of the light beam similar to the portal. It's very obvious from the look ahead, the end of the Stanchurian Candidate and the teaser of the episode that Bill Cipher will be playing a big role in the episode. The light beam is in the shape of the triangle. Since Bill Cipher is a triangle, it probably means that Bill Cipher will be really important in the next episode. Although it could mean otherwise, I'm pretty sure it's that. The next two are much harder to explain so let's start. From the title of the episode, (The Last Mabelcorn) The Last Mabel is pretty easy to understand, if you don't, see the paragraph above. However the corn part, we don't know. We can guess that the crops being grown is corn for the fact no other crop would make sense. However, if you have already heard of all of this, don't worry, here's the part you have been waiting for. Although how they got to the cornfield we don't know I have three theories of how they could of arrived. The first involves the last part of the picture, the sea. Dipper and Stanford could have been washed away by the strong currents of the water, only to find that they were in a cornfield. They could be on a beach or by a river or an ocean. The next one involves the light beam. Remember this, there is an unstable rift of the portal still. The rift could have expanded so large that Dipper and Stanford could have got sucked into it, ending up in the Mindscape. The water and cornfield are much darker than usual, so it could be possible that the Mindscape has darker land and water.The final one is the simplest out of the three, Stanford wanted to get revenge on Bill Cipher. However, they forgot how to summon Bill Cipher. Gideon however, already summoned Bill Cipher. Why everything is windy and dark is simple. In Dreamscapers, when Bill Cipher was summoned everything turned grey for a second. The could be a similar effect. Now that's all the theories I have for The Last Mabelcorn. One of these theories could be correct. Or none of them could be correct. Or maybe a little bit is correct from each theory. Nobody knows. Let me know if you agree or disagree with my theories.
