Imprinted
He grinned, following her. “Yeah. We are all big about the people here. Everyone is considered family. Even you Bella….you and Charlie have been close to the Blacks for a while. So you are always welcome here. Remember that.”
He hoped she would use that to come and spend time here. He wouldn’t mind it.
“You know…some of us are having a bon fire tonight on the beach,” He stated, “Would you like to come? I could introduce you to some more of the locals…it would probably feel good to be somewhere new without the memories attached to it…”
“ Is it so? I always thought that family connection in tribes is identified only by blood.” Bella arched her thin eyebrow questioningly. It was very pleasurably to hear something like Sam said, but she never thought of this matter before.
Thin branches crunched under her heavy boots. It was surpsing how such tender human being could wear something so cumbersome, however look so naturally.
“ Sounds great…” Bella whispered, but then she was silent for a moment. How was he able to feel that? His words echoed in her mind. It sounded like if he knew what was in her heart and soul. And it was somewhat… No, she wasn’t sure what to feel about this.
“ I’m not sure that Charlie would like the idea, though ” she tried to explain, as she nodded her head. Bella appreciated Sam’s invitation, but she was still the prisoner of her tragedy and… let’s be honest, it was hard for her to find connection with brand new people.
However, if Charlie knew about this opportunity, he would probably carry Bella to that bon fire party in his own hands.
Imprinted
“Uh yeah Charlie saw me. I handed you to him directly then he carried you into the house and had a doctor look at you. I made sure you would be fine then took leave,” Sam explained.
He looked around, pulling his thoughts together as she asked about the council. How to do this without giving away the secret? She wasn’t ready.
“The council is basically the government for the Tribe. Billy Black is the head since he is the chief. They make the rules and keep order here on the reservation.”
Bella was silent as he spoke. So it turned out to be, that Charlie knew about Sam and didn't tell Bella the truth. She knew he did it for her own good, but it still hurt her. And it still was hard for her to believe that.
" Well. . . Thank you, again. I didn't expect that. . . It doesn't matter, anyway. Just. . . Thank you, "
Bella nodded her head once again and shook her shoulders slightly. It was getting darker and colder, so began to shiver. The brunette hid her hands in the pockets and turned back. She started slowly in direction of Black's house, expecting sam to follow her.
" This sounds great. I mean. . . you have your own order and your people always stay together. "
Imprinted
HE blushed lightly in embarrassment. “Well…I-uh…I’m the one who found you and brought you back to Officer Swan. He had not only the police force but also several people from the reservation looking for you.”
He looked away before glancing at her again.
“And I may be young but I’ve been fixing things since I was ten. The council set up my business for me.”
Bella's lips parted in surprise. Was it even possible? She was so tired and cold at that moment, that she couldn't remember what was happening that night and who was the person to find her. She believed that it was Edward and now her world collapsed. The brunette realized that she could even never know who was the one to bring her back home.
" It was. . . you ? " she asked in a whisper, returning her eyes to his. Bella was at a loss, as she didn't expect things to have such a turn. However, she did her best and pulled herself together. As much as it was possible, of course.
" Then. . . Then I have to thank you. Wait. . . Did Charlie see you? I mean, when you brought me there? " she wondered, letting out a deep noisy exhalation.
" The council? " she asked as she blinked. Bella knew Sam for a few moment, but had so much things to ask him, already.
Imprinted
He shrugged with a small smile. “Yeah…I like to keep fit. Makes it easier to do heavy lifting…I own a construction company now. But you should try to stay on the path in the woods…I don’t want you to get lost again.”
He wondered if she even realized that he was the one to find her and bring her back home. Probably not…
" Um... you look kinda young to be an owner of the company, already " Bella pursed her plump bitten lips. It was an ordinary thing for her to wake up because of the pain and drops of blood on her lips. She couldn't control it while her sleep and could nibble her lips so hard... It wasn't something like she didn't trust his word, but it was so rare when a young man of his age would be the owner of something. Only if he was a heir of something... How old was he? Twenty-three or even older? Still young enough.
" W-what? Again? " she frowned a bit, brushing a few locks of her dark hair behind her ear. How could he know... What was happening, after all?
Imprinted
“I honestly didn’t mean to run into you,” Sam said, smiling a sheepish smile, “”I don’t know if you remember me…I’m Sam Uley. We met on First Beach back at the end of the summer. I was wondering if I’d ever see you again…”
He blushed lightly, looking away. He hadn’t meant to say that. He ran a hand through his short, cropped hair.
“Sorry…I really am not trying to sound creepy or anything,” he laughed, smiling a wide smile.
He could hear his wolf inside of him, chanting that she was his and to take her. He put the wolf under control. He didn’t want to scare her away.
Bella covered her face with her thin palms, for a moment, as if she wanted to make sure her eyes were dry, not full of tears, as they used to be for past three months. She let her fingers slide up to her hair and she brushed few dark locks off her forehead.
" Sam. . . Right. . ., " she nodded her head a few times, searching for the memories in her head. And then, she recalled him, though it was such a blurry picture. She bit her bottom lip nervously, feeling uncomfortable for not remembering him so well.
" Bella, Bella Swan. Nice to meet you again... I didn't know, there was someone here... Jogging? "
She glanced at him briefly and then tilted her head slightly, examining the nature around them. Bella wasn't sure how to feel about their meeting and that small conversation, she tried to keep up.
Imprinted
The moment he saw her move to the woods, he was a bit annoyed and distressed over her. Sam couldn’t believe she would just…walk into the woods alone like that. But as he realized she wasn’t going too deep…he let it slide. He was there after all.
He moved and started to jog, intending to run into her in the woods, hoping she would believe he had been exercising. She wasn’t ready to know of his world just yet. As he passed some trees and bushes, he diverged his path enough so he would almost run into her.
“Whoa!” he called, his arms reached out and catching her as he bumped into her.
He had made sure to hold back much of his momentum so she would’t feel too jostled and definitely not get hurt in any way.
“I’m sorry! Are you alright?” he asked, his dark eyes meeting her brown ones. They were just as he remembered,
She walked strictly along the trampled path, so she wouldn't get lost and could easily come back to Black's house. Bella was full of chaotic thoughts, that would become whispers to haunt her tired and weak mind... She could only hear birds' chirping, from time to time, however wind's gusp didn't let her to enjoy them for too long. So she wandered, righnt until that moment someone ran into her. " Oh, God! " Bella exclaimed out of surprise, as shiver ran down her spine. She didn't expect to meet anyone out there. What was wrong with Froks' forests? Why were they full of different strangers? " I'm fine - I'm fine ", Bella let out rather stumbling in her words. She moved aback from the man and bent closer to her knees just a bit, trying to calm down. As she realized that it was just an accident, she straightened up again and blinked. She frowned, not realizing what was the matter. Why did he look at her that way? Have they ever met before?
@sponsaelamia
“—Trying to sneak out, are we?” Evan smirked as he sat on the bannister, looking down at Bella “—Alice won’t be happy, she put much effort into this slumerparty.”
Bella shivered, as she didn't expect anyone to catch her. It was rather very silly of her, knowing she was among vampires. ' O. . .Oh, I'm. . .' she mumbled, as she was lost in her thoughts. ' I'm just. . . I don't think it's a good idea, for me/ I've never been a party person,' she let out finally.
Imprinted
Sam stood and brushed the sand off before running to the Black’s. He knew Bella was friends with Jacob and he figured she must have gone to see him. Finally on the tribe’s land. His wolf was singing inside of him. He just hoped he could speak with her…invite her to a bon fire…just a private one. Just the pack. She needed a pack…he felt it deep down. She needed someone to be there for her.
So he would be.
When he arrived, he saw her in the garage with Jacob, talking. He was laughing and carrying on but she seemed to just…be there. Not really participating. He wanted to approach but knew Jacob wouldn’t take kindly to his presence. He would wait for her to step away for some quiet time or alone time…hopefully then they could speak.
For the first few moments, Bella couldn't help it and was rather cold to Jacob and everything and everyone, at all... However, after a small overthinking, she realized that it was nasty of her to be so indifferent. She began to talk to her friend with more enthusiasm and even asked him a few questions. Though even a blind one could see how hard it was for Bella to distract herself from her grief, she tried her best to do everything not to offend Black's house. The two had a small conversation, but it didn't last too long. Jacob had to go to the town to take some details for his "project" and Bella decided to stay and join Billy and her father, but at first... When Jacob left, Bella decided to take a small walk into the woods. She had no intention to get lost or to go too deep, but to wander a bit and... recall those precious moments she had with Edward. Was that some kind of self harming? She looked at the window and saw that men were in deep discussion of some matters and it pleased her. Noone would disturb her. The brunette hid her hands in the pockets of her leather jacket of dark-brown color and headed off towards the forest. She was breathing deeply, as if trying to quench her thirst. She missed that air, full of mixed scents: moisty soil, rain, fresh grass and pine trees. Bella was slow. She had no need to rush. It was just a time for her and the nature. And her painfully happy past.
Imprinted
Sam never knew how hard it would be to have an imprint until the day he imprinted on a girl and subsequently lost her before he even had a chance. It had happened one day in town when he had gone to the general store to pick up some more bread. He had run out, and that happens often when you are trying to live off of sandwiches with how much he can eat.
He met her in the store, and her name was Bella. She was a pale face, and he knew enough town gossip to know she was the daughter of the Forks Police chief. And she was beautiful and everything he could ever want in a girl. But she had left he got busy so he never had a chance to try and find some reason to see her again.
And then that leech happened.
He was like a parasite and Sam watched in despair as she changed and became timid and easy to please…and someone who wanted to please the leech and his family. It hurt him to see it…she was meant to be his mate which means she must be strong and resilient. He was alpha after all.
Then the leech finally came to his senses and left her, but Sam had been pissed when he learned that he had allowed her to get lost, and spent most of the afternoon searching for her. when he found her she was partially frozen and almost catatonic. For a moment he feared she was dead.
Sam shook his head, clearing his imprint from his mind. He had told himself once she approaches La Push again…he would go to her and make her realize she is so much more than what that leech had made her out to be. He would be there for her, as either a friend. lover, or brother. Whatever it is she needs. He stared out at the crashing waves but his ears perked when he heard a very familiar noisy truck.

Who could ever tell, that her return to her father's house would change her whole life? If only Bella knew... She would never reject her fate, anyway. It's been a while since she came back to the city. Forks was still as much foggy and rainy as she could remember it. And each and every event that would happen to her there, would be followed by rather lugubrious weather.
Edward. He was gone. He left her all alone with that pain, tearing her chest apart and forcing the screams burst out of her each night. He left her with all those nightmares. He left her... He was gone.
The days were passing by, but the pain wouldn't go away, neither it would become weaker. She was locked in her room and in her mind, not letting anyone or anything save her. It was her own pain, she had to fight against. Unfortunately, she was losing...
That was the day, when Charlie couldn't see his daughter at such a state anymore. He had to do something. And he decided to take her to his old good friend Billy. Perhaps, he would do some 'voodoo hoodoo' to Bella and that would stop her nightmares? It was hard to watch her suffer and hear her shout everytime she would manage to fall asleep in her own tears.
So Charlie finally managed to take Bella out of the house. He was driving, while she was silent. As always.
One way or another, they've arrived to Billy's place and Bella could enjoy some fresh air, at last. Charlie noticed Jacob and left his daughter to chat with a young man, while he would explain Billy why exactly he needed his help.
She lost some weight and looked even more pale, as she normally was. Her eyes lost their sparkle and she was rather tired, because of the constant panic attacks, however, he managed to smile to her long lost childhood friend Jacob.

Day 13: Favorite song from the Twilight Soundtrack.
Iron and Wine - Flightless Bird, American Mouth
I love this song beyond words. I love the timing of it of the prom scene at the end of the first movie. It just seems so like Edward and Bella, and it is just a beautiful song.
but still, I NEVER LOST A FIGHT.

“About three things I was absolutely positive: First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him-and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be-that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.”
