Lindsey Stirling is literally the most perfect person to me.

she’s unique, she’s adorable, she’s a dancer (amazing!), she plays violin, which is basically the sexiest instrument to play and I’ve always wanted to learn but never had the musical talent, so I just REALLY respect people who can play. Her music is beautiful and means a lot, she really puts feeling into how she plays the violin and how she moves. She also usually has synchronised dancers in her videos (which are my FAVOURITE THING it gives me shivers to see good synchronised dancers) and the filming and special effects are awesome (I know someone else does that but they’re in her videos)

This was like an experience for me.

So. I heard about Lindsey Stirling about a year and a half ago. Was just casually browsing through Youtube and came across a video called Crystallized Here’s a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHjpOzsQ9YI 

After hearing it. I was like this is pretty awesome. (Violin was never really my thing always thought it was just a classical instrument. Well I was extremely wrong apparently.) After that I was listening through the album and was hooked. I was just zoned out through out the hole thing. Lindsey’s story is incredible. She really does prove that no matter what people say. Do what you love be yourself and not only will you feel more confident about yourself but you might even make something out it.

It was a really rough time for me through Uni. I had no friends. My room mates barely talked to me. I felt isolated and alone the entire year. It even led me to missing lectures and almost failing University all together

I know it sounds really cliché but Lindsey’s music and just watching her videos really did help me alot. She is such an inspirational person you just wouldn’t believe what you could achieve.

Cut to about March 2014. I was like “It would be amazing to see Lindsey play live someday” but unfortunately none of my friends would go. I was pretty upset and didn’t think I would go (Mostly being nervous about turning up to a gig on my own) so I turned to the internet and got one of the most amazing responses ever. 

After that I turned to the website order myself a ticket and started chatting to some fans on her fan page. After a horrible time at University I started to finally pick up in confidence again. The ticket for the show came about 2 weeks before the show and believe me I was super excited.

Then when came to the show. I met some really awesome and nice people from all around the world (was really shocked considering it was in Manchester) but I met a girl named Ashley from Ohio. A guy called Daniel from Finland. A little girl probably around 7 and her mum who came all the way from Canda (I think) they were really nice people and we spent the whole night chatting to each other and just generally having a really nice time. Then came the show which was absolutely amazing. (I would love to go again) and then to top off the night I actually got to meet Lindsey herself and get a bunch of merch signed. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had and Lindsey is such a nice person. Everyone just has smiles across their faces as she walks into a room it really is magical.

Ok the dragon age video was awesome. Honestly I was expecting a bit more than a 2 and and half minute video but I’ll take what I can get. Nevertheless Lindsey Stirling doesn’t disapoint.
