rewatching the tsunami eps (mistake) and the thing that guts me harder than anything is watching eddie's reaction as buck fumbles through his words trying to explain the unimaginable horror of losing christopher. guzman really ate those 10 seconds up. like you can SEE the way he cycles through fear disbelief bone crushing grief his soul leaving his body as his best friend tries to tell him the worst thing he ever could - and there's a flinch in there when buck's guilt bubbles over, like he's already bracing himself to have to muster forgiveness bc w/o it he knows buck will shatter. insane. he can't even look buck in the eye. how could he. he's shattering and it's everything at once but he just absorbs it instead of lashing out or saying anything he just lets it quietly bury him
