Characters grow up. Sometimes we exhaust exploring the canon content and want to go beyond. Flesh out how they may grow up, how their attitudes and relationships change.

Like honestly man, have you not been involved with like... any of the arts outside of fandoms? Do you not see the art and writings that for years have explored a ranges of themes and experiences? And that that doesn’t mean the creator supports those things happening irl, but rather is just illustrating them and exploring them as an artist?
