On Thursday evening, the NFL’s push to renegotiate its media rights agreement came to an unofficial halt — a twist that carries sweeping implications for college football and basketball, conference media rights deals and perhaps the next round of realignment.

Arizona State Football has truly activated The Valley, not just in their work in the community, but in their coaching hiring practices as well. The details are not yet public, but this much we know: Sorsby will leave Texas Tech and enter the NFL supplemental draft this summer, according to ESPN, thereby ending a ghastly saga that threatened to undermine the competitive integrity of Big 12 football and turn Texas Tech into a pariah.
