࣪ ִֶָ☾. TBP: The Warden ࣪ ִֶָ☾.
The Warden just wants the crown but is forced to be with a group with (mostly) family problems (someone save him).
⊹ TBP: Is Seb's head okay? ⊹
☪︎ TBP: The Warden ☪︎
Fun fact: Crows approach the faces of potential threats not only to intimidate, but to assess them and identify dangers such as predators or risky people. Also, they have a great capacity for facial recognition and can remember human faces for years, especially if they associate them with negative experiences.
☾𖤓 TBP: Seb ☾𖤓
𓏲ּ𝄢 TBP: Atticus 𓏲ּ𝄢
Foreshadowing of Atticus leaving Aerie (in the early episodes). Atticus was the person Elaine was wondering about in episode 14. And, exactly as Kadena said, he had no choice: in episode 94, Atticus mentions that people like him could disappear because of the king.
₊𖥔 Cinderelle x TBP ۪ ׄ໑୧ ׅ𖥔ׄ
It may not be canon, but maybe Cinderelle and The Blind Prince are in the same world. The aesthetics of the time period are very similar, especially the characters' costumes and the setting of the ball.
Both comics would not have any inconsistencies in the story that each one covers: Cinderelle takes place in a kingdom where all the problems only develop there (so far). And TBP focuses more on the kingdom of Aerie, where its entrance is at the portal near the city where Elaine lives, and only a few of its inhabitants there heard about it.
Also, there were cameos in both comics!
ꪆৎ TBP: Episodes 3 and 92 ꪆৎ
The parallels between episodes 3 and 92: Charles pointing a gun at Elaine, and their parents in the same situation. Both Elaine and her father ended up on the other side of the portal afterward.
𐔌՞.The Warden and Charles.՞𐦯
I need to analyze one of the dynamics I find most interesting (and underrated) in The Blind Prince: The Warden and Charles.
In their first meeting, Charles instantly showed distrust towards The Warden, looking suspiciously and questioning aloud everything he said or did, in contrast to other characters like Moira, who decided to make a deal with him.
Later, when Charles was taking notes, he hesitated when The Warden looked at him. His defiant attitude changed after The Warden claimed to be "Prince Sebastian," and he wasn't directly disrespectful like before. Perhaps Charles realized that The Warden could be dangerous because of his powers or status as a "prince".
After Charles shoots a rook, The Warden seemed to be expecting an apology, but from the way he asked, he knew Charles would say something else. And that's what Charles did: he said Isabela didn't have to apologize for his behavior. And if The Warden really expected an apology, he wouldn't have cut him off mid-conversation.
The Warden threatens him, entering Charles's personal space (as he did with Moira in previous chapters), and reminds him of his position. Here it's clear that the type of weapon Charles uses is already familiar to The Warden. As Kieron mentioned, The Warden protected them from those kinds of people outside the portal, calling them "hunters." That's why The Warden particularly hates Charles.
On the other hand, Charles realizes that the "prince" is not who he claims to be, relating it to Lucy's accident that he witnessed some time ago. Just as he was about to shoot, he immediately hesitated and began to remember Elaine. That brief moment made him go against everything his father had taught him his entire life.
The first time they both seem to agree is in considering Karl as an "obstruction," a label used by Charles to avoid disrespecting a rook again (following The Warden's threat). Despite noticing the ring in Charles' pocket, The Warden seemed willing to give him a chance, as if his moments of anger were only about protecting his subjects.
Finally, Charles' suspicions about The Warden were correct, as he was the only character who recognized his danger without knowing anything about the kingdom, unlike the nobles who did not notice that he was not the real prince. And for the first time, he doesn't react according to his impulses when he sees The Warden's true form (and thinks about protecting his sister). But it is probably due to his natural reaction of freezing in the face of a threat.
In conclusion, Charles' journey in Aerie needed his dynamic with The Warden to allow him to begin developing his redemption arc. The Warden's firm stance and ideals directly contrast Charles's upbringing by his father. But both seem to follow their impulses, in their own way (the Warden was ready to attack them when he couldn't find Seb), and perceive each other as a threat.
⋆.𐙚˚࿔ TBP: Seblaine HCs 𝜗𝜚˚⋆
Hi! First post! I love The Blind Prince and these are some Seblaine (Seb x Elaine) headcanons, part 1.
⋆˚꩜。Their love language is definitely physical touch (they are touch starving) and also words of affirmation.
⋆˚꩜。They are both morning people, but Seb probably prefers to wake up a little late.
⋆˚꩜。They would love to use pet names, but they more often call each other by nicknames (like "seb" or "el").
⋆˚꩜。They give each other gifts, which are always meaningful and thoughtful.
⋆˚꩜。They sometimes match clothes (especially accessories), Seb mostly comes up with the ideas.
⋆˚꩜。Seb is the type of person who asks, "Would you love me if I were a worm?"
⋆˚꩜。Since Elaine knows how to do crafts, Seb tries to learn and practice so they can do more activities together.
