Spring's Underswap

Spring's Underswap (or SpringSwap for short) is my take on the widely know Undertale AU Underswap. Though, it isn't like your usual Underswap take. While most normal swaps take place, there are also some different swaps as well. Personalities are also all mixed around. What do I mean by that exactly? Well, basically, one personality trait is taken away from each main character and given to a different one. For example, I took away Sans's laziness and gave Sans Alphys's nervousness, but Sans still keeps the rest of his personality and is now in Papyrus's role. Alphys also doesn't receive Sans's laziness, but instead a different personality trait. Everyone's new personalities and the few new swaps will all be explained in a later post. I will also post pictures, bios on characters, and accept asks for both me and the characters.

Voila! Springswap Papyrus, in all his glory. The greedy fellow sells overpriced coffee and other items at his shop "Paper Coffee." This is probably because pieces of paper are sprinkled in the coffee... though it somehow still tastes good nonetheless. He spends his time hanging out with his brother Sans, occasionally visiting Mettaspectra in Waterfall and Undyne in Hotland. He also talks to a mysterious stranger behind the Ruins door...

do you have any concept art for the au so far?

Well, for the moment, just those two previous drawings... also sorry I didn't answer your question sooner, I just hadn't exactly drawn anything yet because while I have pretty much everyone's designs in my brain, whenever I try to put them on paper... I just struggle. But I'll try to whip up more concept art whenever I can. :)

Ok I just wanted to state something before I answer this next ask, but there will be an Aaron character named Aarthur in Hotland, who is socially awkward, talks a bit weird, is friends with DJ NapstaBoss, and plays music with his robotic bud on stage.

wait what if greater dog and lesser dog swapped with catty and bratty? and there was a proper catty&bratty miniboss? whereas greater dog was whater replaces the idea of a "garbage vendor" in this au, and lesser was some guy in hotland who was one of those ([dialoge prompt] [buy {item} for {amount} gold?) vendors?

Hmmm.. you know this is actually a great idea! Originally I just did the classic Catty + Bratty and RG 01 + RG 02 swap, and then I was going to swap out the entire dog guard in Snowdin, aka the "Canine" unit with the "Feline" unit and make them all cats, but your idea is actually much better! So yeah I'll probably end up doing that. :)

Ok so the reason I haven't been posting much on here lately is because I've mainly been working on stuff behind the scenes, but if any of you still have any questions about things I haven't explained or just want to ask the characters themselves, then go right ahead.

Referring back to that last ask, the only time Sans doesn't stutter is when he's talking to Papyrus, and he stutters the most when talking to Toriel.

Yes! He does stutter and tends to sweat a lot, but stutters less the more he gets to know the human (Asriel).
