Headcanons for Villagers (on this blog); - They have different genders, I know that in the game it doesn't matter but for my sanity, there are males & females. Because if state that they're both genders there will be riots... -_-
-Children, they take more the three days to grow up and there's even an infant stage. They grow up just like anybody else but with a tighter-knit community. It takes a village to raise a child type deal.
-Villager towns do have 'leaders/ mayors/ councils'. There's usually one or two that help run the town for simplicity but they don't 'lord' over their community. This person is probably an elder or one of the older villagers to give advice and help life as a whole. Like a counselor, you can take their advice but are free to do what you wish. So long as it doesn't put the rest of the community in danger.
-Villagers usually stay in one spot but it's not uncommon to see them from other places. IE they have different skin tones, accents & etc. Villagers don't mind this in the slightest because their cultures only differ a bit in food and livestock gathering.
-They can be hostile to outsiders, one can't simply walk into a villager town like in the game. They're just like every other community and will attack if you steal anything from their homes and fields.
-Villagers are eager to barter and if you need something simple like food and board they'll trade for simple things. As for rarer things or things harder to make they get a bit pickier on what they want.
