Things I’ve learned reading the pearl jam biography

The band hated Dave basically because he was too nice and was excited about being famous instead of being ashamed of it

The first car Stone had bought after the success of ten was a huge station wagon bc he wanted to chauffeur his friends around and was very excited about seat warmers

Eddie once wandered out of the tour bus in the middle of the night and the rest of the crew didn’t notice until 150 miles later… he had to hitchhike with a truck driver

Mike would scare the shit out of Dave by beating the shit out of the drum set with his guitar, sending dave into full blown crouch and hide mode

Stone had an unintentionally funny habit of mouthing the guitar chords as he played them, making it look like he was talking to himself during shows

Eddie once got past the safety barriers to climb onto a steel support beam atop the space needle above 56 stories to take a lightbulb as a souvenir

Stone was once late for a show and the guys had to start without him because he lost track of time playing chess in the basement with one of the Chili peppers crew members
