"Yeah. Two deerhounds, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern." He smiled before taking a sip of his water, "I'm guessing you don't have animals?"
"Contrary to popular opinion I don't actually spend most of my days off in the gym." He laughed, "I guess I spend them how most people do. Relaxing, walking my dogs, theatre on occasion."
He nodded, “In our line of business even if we have family they often stop being-” He shrugged, glancing down, “So what do you do as hobbies? There must be something other than work.”
“It is,” He agreed, “And you? Do you have any siblings?” He truthfully didn’t know much about her, being on a lower paygrade than her.
Bash nodded. "Yeah. We were best friends growing up, and we still are. He's training to be a teacher now."
Bash looked at her with a smile, though his expression was still guarded. “I don’t have much to tell, I guess.” He replied, “I have a younger half brother, though you might have already known that.”
“No one will.” He assured, “I only want you. No one even comes close to you in my estimation.”
“Matias.” He sighed, wrapping his arm around his boyfriend, “I didn’t mean like that, sweetheart.”
"Yeah, but I'm no fun. I'm not really one for swimming." He shrugged, "go. Be free."
Bash sat on the sand dune, watching the other groups enjoying the sun. “You can go, do whatever, you know?” He looked over at Matias with a shrug, “I’m content just to sit here.”

“You’re worse than the girlfriends the other guys have.” He muttered with a smile, “The absolute worst.”
“I think that you meant the absolute best,” he said, smirking. “I’m your top fan, clearly.”
“Top fan doesn’t always mean good.” He replied.
“We shall just have to see.” He replied with a small smile, eyes on the road as he drove. “I like to think myself relatively good company, but then again I’m biased.” He glanced at her for a moment. The directions weren’t for too far and he pulled into a space after not too long.
Bash nodded, getting in the car. He quickly checked his phone and typed the address into his sat nav, starting the car up and pulling from the kerb to follow the directions. “I’m sure I shall. And even if I don’t like the food, the company will be worth it.”
Bash looked down to hide a bright smile as he followed her. Once at his car, he opened her door for her, gesturing her in. “Am I to know where I’m driving you yet? Or shall I not know until we’ve parked?” He said in an almost teasing tone.

She smiles the last time at the mirror, putting her lipstick into a small, pearl colored purse, before turning and sitting down in her arm chair. the doorbell should ring soon and in a way she was looking forward to it. root preferred this over picking up people in clubs, while she didnt know if Sebastian would be anything like she imagined in bed,s he at least could trust him not to stab her in the back - with a 75% certainity. Which was better than usual for her.
It was nice really, she thought as she crossed her legs, leaning back in her seat, heels of her pumps glinting in the light from the ceiling. Of course, it could get rather complicated if anything went wrong or Seb decided to get attached, but she did think that Raphael preferred her over the soldier, so there shouldnt be a problem.
Exactly on time, Bash arrived and rang the bell. She’d not divulged whether it was to be a more upmarket place or not so he’d hedged his bets, wearing a dark suit and tie, though the tie was just placed over his neck rather than tied. Running his fingers through his hair once more, he waited for her.
“Yes. It is.”
