OKAY GUYS ! SMALL PSA, I’VE MADE A DECISION. 

this blog is a mess    & it gives me hella anxiety trying to fix  it. so i’m going to be doing so IN PIECES.   so this blog will  stay quiet until i can rewrite & recode all the pages that this hellsite decided to delete on me.      Dawn shrugs, lips pressing together. “Not to throw her under the bus, but – maybe that was Faith, back when she was bad. Or the old Watcher’s Council. I don’t know, but I know that it’s not my sister. She’s loved way more than just humans before.” Like me, she thinks; but that’s a conversation best left for another day. “I still think she would love YOU, if you think you can ever give her the chance.”

Maybe it’s just an empty placation to Jewel by now, yet Dawn still reaches out to take her hand anyway, clasping it firmly between both of her own. 

     (Because at least she wasn’t so young. Deep down she’s always been an ANCIENT, a celestial; even the girl she is now was older, then, than the small child Jewel was. Was protected so fiercely by her sister – no, the girl whose flesh and blood shaped her own.) 

      So it’s not surprise, the way Dawn’s spine stiffens at the mention of Buffy. “No, that’s – that’s NOT what she does.” she protests, weakly. “You don’t hurt people, and she knows that. I don’t blame you for thinking it, but… Slayers aren’t as black and white as you believe any more. I promise, J – Buffy’s only been called since she was in high school. She never did anything like that.”
