Do you ever think about how the entire Danganronpa series happened because Hopes Peak preyed on the insecurities of one of their students to experiment on him, ruining him to the point that you could argue death is a kinder fate, and then DR3 ended with Makoto saying “Hopes Peak was a symbol of hope I’m gonna rebuild it.”

Imagine living your whole life, in a world that has embodied the values of this place, being taught you were worthless, then being experimented on, and finally coming to accept who you are and learning to reject those values you were taught and facing a new day... and they rebuild the place

What about all the people in horrid situations that the academy left in those situations and just trudged on because all that mattered was their talent like Mikan?
