i read the movie script and i have a few things to say about it:
@ the people who dislike it, it’s fair to be disappointed it’s not edgy anymore. but you’re not the target audience. you have to look at it thru the lenses of a child.
no i’m not saying i liked the poopy-fart-poopoo jokes, but i’m not the one the movie was going to be made for. the inflation sequence wasn’t that bad either it’s just a cartoon trope. i feel like people are focusing on that and not the rest of the movie script. so i’m going to list a few things i liked about it.
*sparx calls spyro “grape juice” *ignitus made sure spyro was in a safe place where he would get cared for *malefor’s minions being made of plant and mud, he brought them to life *there being a reason cynder is named cynder *pox being loyal until the end, unlike gaul who planned to betray malefor *the concept of the life gem and malefor’s red motif *cynder getting adopted by flash and luna, it means she gets an actual family *spyro and sparx going back to the dragonflies, their real parents *the movie trying to have fun and silly moments *mole-yair makes a come back *ignitus dies in a way that makes sense
keep in mind this is the 4th draft, probably not even the final one. the script has pacing issues but it’s trying to condense a trilogy into a movie that’s probably an hour thirty while also adding a backstory that’s more than 5 minutes. if you didn’t like the script, it wasn’t for you. i don’t like teen titans go but it wasn’t made for me, i’m not the target audience.
overall the movie was unpolished but it wasn’t the worst thing in the world. it had a lot of potential.
