Sci-fi thoughts about futuristic space stuff where most other alien species are huge and humans are tiny and are like borrowers sneaking onto ships and onto other planets spreading all around space and navigating through tunnels and air ducts and stealing things and stuff-

Thinking about like people learning about technology and mechanics from being within all the inner workings of things and in the walls of ships, they learn from being around it often and from watching aliens mess with it-

So then a lot of these tiny humans end up fixing little things on ships if they live on them or sneak on to get from place to place

Just the thought of like dudbdjdjdb rumors about tiny things fixing stuff on ships when you're not looking and this alien doesn't believe the rumors at all until one day they're on this one ship and stuff that's on their list to fix keeps already being fixed when they haven't touched it yet

"Ah well time to repair this wire, lemme grab my pliers-" *turns away, looks back* "I WAS TURNED AROUND FOR FIVE SECONDS WHY IS IT FIXED"

Last night I was up imagining a little engineer human who catches rides on different ships to get around and trade things to humans and human colonies in different places

Them coming out of the air ducts during a sleep cycle and getting onto tje cockpit to change course of the autopilot on the ship, using hands to mess with hologram buttons and set course to this trading outpost and add a note like "need more food" so nobody gets suspicious ("who changed the course? I mean I guess we might need more food...")

Then once they land and the aliens are out the human sneaks out to take something in their bag to another human living hidden in the area and bringing it to them like "see? Told you I was good for it, now gimme the stuff" and trading off what they stole for supplies for themself

And then they get caught and are put in a clear container like the alien equivalent of like a jar

Get caught idiot-

(And then they find a way to escape and freaks everyone out- "Oh FUCK where did it go!?")

Traditional bookmarks

A random receipt or torn piece of paper, napkin, other random paper, etc.

Fold the corner of the last page you were on

Just leave the book upside down with the last page open

Memorize or write down the last page you were on

You don’t mark your page and just hope you’ll find it later
