I made a bunch of supernatural recolors of various paintings in the game. I really enjoyed making the quilts, even though it took a long time.

Every type of supernatural has a number, so that means that "Jodelie_Art_Arghist_01A" is the alien recolor of the Arghist painting. The A is just in case I make more recolors in the future (such optimism lol).

The "Dead" life state includes zombies, ghosts, skeletons and Grim Reaper.

There are of course no mermaids in the game, but I found so much cool art that I just added them anyway.

I've worked on these (and other paintings) for a very long time, to the point I was feeling really insecure about most of them. But I realized that I just needed to share them and get over it lol. So anyway, enjoy!

In my Pleasantview, Cassandra and Darren got married. And their eldest daughter, Daphne, just became a teen. She’s a knowledge sim, with knowledge wants. And one of them? The one I locked in?

She wants to get the Extraterrestrial Reparations scholarship.

You know! The one you get if you’re abducted by aliens!

Given Cassandra’s history, I imagine she has Opinions about her daughter wanting to get abducted by aliens for a SCHOLARSHIP of all things.

Hi hi you asked for headcanons, and this is more a question about what YOUR headcanon is but...I wanna know what you think about Nervous' gender??? I feel like i only really see gender discussion for Pascal. I feel like the most common depiction of Nervous is just as cis (which is fine!!!), but if you take into account that Death doesnt TECHNICALLY have a gender, he only got genes from Olive!!

I feel like it opens Nervous up for different interpretations! I like to think after escaping the Beakers, he'd really get a chance to think about who HE is as a person, and gender would probably take a place in that.

How do you see Nervous? Any interpretation is good I think!! I'm just curious to know what other people's thoughts are on the matter :3

oohh!!! this is a really good question!

ive thought about this extensively because i imagine he has a unique relationship with gender because of all of the afformentioned reasons.

ultimately, i think nervous is ""cisgender male"" but in the sense that he's never quite felt male or any gender before because of a loss of autonomy and personhood that was stripped from him, and because of his trauma induced dislike of women due to the women in his life being... not great... (circe, olive, etc), he'd want to distance himself as far away as possible from feminity and this is applicable in gender.

however, i have thought about him possibly being transfem at some point? not really a hc i fully use for myself but i think it could be a really neat way of presenting his healing from abuse and such by accepting feminity and finding that theres a great comfort in that? so thats a thing i suppose

Does anyone know of many let's players that do not use spreadsheets/dice rollers etc? That stuff is cool and all but watching it gets kinda boring quickly because there will be entire episodes just going through massive lists calculating finances and stuff when I'd just rather watch them play the Sims. Please suggest some below if you know of any! Bonus points if they have cool custom hoods since I'm building one myself and could use some inspiration.

Sorry not to hijack the post but I can't reply from this blog! My personal favorite Sims 2 series right now is The Astrolegacy Challenge by HanDrawnTV on youtube!!! It's a long going series, still going! She doesn't use spreadsheets or dice rollers, her gameplay is very loose and go-with-the-flow! I personally think it gets super fun after the first generation, but all of the episodes are worth the watch. It's really nice to throw it on in the background while I work or draw.
