my splatoon obsession has returned to a disabling state of hyperfixation and it's gotten bad enough that I'm playing ranked seriously again. idk I played splatoon for like 6 hours straight without stopping last night and my like 5 year old controller joysticks are decaying.

#freakyells #god it's so hard to explain how absurdly obsessed I am abt splatoon without coming across as completely mad #like it's been permanently tied to so much stuff in my brain that I don't think it's going to ever leave me. I'm being possessed by it #no matter how amazing or awesome an interest in something is it always has to get eventually shoved out of the way in my head #like the splatoon interest is close to lasting 7 years at this point and has yet to be even slightly shaken from it's throne #and it sucks so badddddd bc it feels like chemical addiction at it's worst and actively harms my ability to do anything at all #man it's like. how do I even begin to explain this to my therapist bc it's so damn stupid #like I have hallucinated the splatoon HUD and I have not slept for several days playing it. like at a point it becomes self harm #and the gamer rage is embarrassing. bc Ive 100%ed silksong with minimal rage but I have stabbed myself with a pencil bc of ranked modes #and if u thought that was embarrassing that's not even half of it bc splatoon permanently ruined my sexual development #bc I had the bad luck to see marina r34 at like 11 and also fandom brained yaoi which fucked me up for life bc I got so into it #man. I think I should try and get some more psychiatric drugs but also. I need a new monitor. and I really want a steam machine.#and I'll justify persuading my parents for a switch 2 when all my joycons finally break in like a year #weirdly enough I never got stick drift but I just got other issues. buttons stop working and sticks wearing away and getting dead zones #now back to my horrible confessions. splatoon prevents me from living my life normally bc I have no normal interests now #but also idk how much of me being a loser is splatoons fault and how much of it is the tism which I hate more every day #like it feels like the symptoms of mental disability gets worse as I get older and it sucks bc like how am I going to get a job at this rat #I am the least employable motherfucker on this planet!!!! if someone of authority talks to me I start crying for no reason!!!#I should stop. and sleep. but I'm full of adrenaline now so I'm probably going to go play more splatoon

Hey do y'all remember agent_marusankisser? They were a pretty big Splatoon fan and an even bigger Coroika fan that was quite active here around 2023-2025. I wonder what they're doing now. I wonder what they think of Splatoon Raiders.
