It’s all too much for me. I was crying tears of blood. The star wink was a last minute choice, because it looked ‘naked’ otherwise.
I never realized how uncomfortable I am drawing his legs until now. I have a fine line of collection of Grand Cardinal related art. Aka there is a folder of “Grand Cardinal Art” and a folder that is “Grand Cardinal Art That Shouldn’t Exist”.

The Grand Cardinal wasn't too surprised with this situation.
There was a good chance there was a traitor in the upper ranks of Cruxis, someone that went by Aquila from what he heard from his subordinates. Lux was a quiet person like many of the angels, but she often showed a mischevious side when she disorganized files of his previous failures. Of course, he couldn't question her like he would do with regular insubordination -- she was above him. He learned the hardway of the system that was in place when Kratos returned to Lord Yggdrasill. She was granted that place by Lord Yggdrasill himself. That of course, meant he had a lot of supsicions towards her but no certifable evidence.
"So... it seems you're a traitor after all."
Perhaps it was hypocritical on his part to state this because he was in a scheme to overthrow Cruxis with Rodyle, but he wouldn't let her know that. He had kept this a secret to almost everyone, and addled the mind of the human who did happen to overhear it. His staff materialized as he noticed she had her rapier ready for battle.
"I had my suspicions. There was always a fifty/fifty chance, but I always took your loyalty to our great leader into account... ” He sighed, he seemed way too accepting of this like it didn’t even unsettle him, “Ah well. It’s always hard to tell what is sabotage and what is incompetence in this world. At the very least, I know where all the data is being leaked from now and your plans will end here, for the glory of the Lord Yggdrasill."

I’m probably going to be redoing a lot information on my blog, particularly rules (they won’t change much), alternate universes and so on. But I’m pretty much winging it, so please pardon the dust as I’m attempting to get organized! Maybe some more OOC information about myself being around what games I’ve played, what games I’ve seen playthroughs of, etc.
That being said, I’m going to keep at the same level of activity that’s expected for my goofy ass. Just because I haven’t replied yet, doesn’t mean I forgotten about you, it just means I’m hopping around excitedly while replying! I’m just happy there is a lot of interest for Kvar to interact with!

Kvar frowned to the extremely professionally dressed President of the Lezerano Company, while he did his best to stay hidden under the cloak. Half-elves were not seen well in Tethe'alla, which is why he chose to hide in the forests of Ozette temporarily.
“It would be wise for you to hold your tongue, human.” He kept a good distance between them “I am doing something out of the ordinary to have an alliance with you because we’re under a mutual agreement.” It wasn’t an act of cowardice that he chose to leave his respective ranch he was assigned to, although he was sure that was how Rodyle was likely spreading it. It was the fact he felt so insulted, he just used all the keycodes he had figured out many years ago to travel to Tethe'alla and see the so called ‘Angelus Project’ there for himself.

The way this world worked was extremely strange.
Kvar couldn’t recall much prior to his awakening, all that he knew is that he had a lot of resentment against the world and humanity for some reason he couldn’t describe. This older and blind half-elf seemed oddly familiar, but he couldn’t pin down how. As far as he knew, Kvar always existed as a spirit – but there had to be more. All he knew was his name.
Least to say the world he was brought into was a strange one, being highly advanced in technology relying on gasoline and electricity. Due to not having any other alternative offered to him, he followed this odd old man, even if it seemed he wasn’t one for too much for conversation.This time, was an odd choice. It must have been a startling sight to see a spirit following an old half-elf into a fast food restaurant, and the uneasy fast food worker try to put their head down and ignore it. Not do anything particularly important of course, Kvar wasn’t insanely powerful. But it was odd to be summoned here on a whim. This place had wooden tables, faux leather chairs which Yuan was sitting in as comfortably as he could, and an interior painted in muted orange, yellows, and subtle greens. Kvar was ready to ask him a question, before several trays of forty boxes of ten piece chicken nuggets and various sauces on the side were brought to him. Kvar’s eyes widened, glancing back to his summoner.
“… You are not thinking you can eat all this, are you?”

So, he continued fighting. Too bad that Kvar had gotten away. Escaped death, his blood should have joined those of his fallen troops. Glancing up, Anna noticed that she had her back against a cliff side which meant there was no escape. Unless she fought against Kvar. But what good would that do, she was useless in a battle against the cardinal. The cat had the mouse in a corner so for now she would listen to what he had to tell her.
Cruxis? During her time in the ranch she had heard that name a few times but pretended to ignore ever hearing about it. Being a human used for experiments Anna rarely ever heard anything spoken because she had either been unconscious or far away from the higher ups to hear anymore than she needed to hear. But Cruxis. That name was one often spoken when guards walked by or spoken in whispers. At the time, Anna never knew what it meant until now.
This was surprising even for her. All this time kept in the dark, without knowing why she and other humans were put in these ranches. And Kratos….he was a seraphim? One of high ranking who was in league with Cruxis. Anna hung her head, teeth gritted together as the blade shook within her grasp.
“I don’t care……” Her voice was unstable like a volcano ready to erupt. “Angels, Seraphim. Cruxis. At least now I know more information than before. Did you think I would be shocked, scared. Maybe even frightened by this realization that Kratos is a seraphim? Well i’m not. No matter what he is or who he worked for I still love him.” There had been a reason why Kratos didn’t tell her. To protect her perhaps, maybe if their paths crossed again….but for now.
Raising her blade higher, Anna lifted her head and narrows her eyes. “I may not be able to kill you, but I can try.” She then brought her blade down.
“What a pity. To think, all I wanted back was the hard work you stole from me with as little bloodshed as possible...” Kvar sighed. There was something so deeply cold and hollow about his low laughter, but it was anything but surprised. As Anna swung her blade towards him, he skillfully parried it with his staff with a strangely graceful air. It was clear this half elf was already prepared for the possibility of an attack.
It was clear he was playing with her, even with her powerful exsphere. The half elf was a thin and lanky mage, who had very basic muscle definition but it was clear that he was trained for battle.
His voice in contrast to her fiery emotions, remained completely detached and humored at her attempts, “Don’t you think it’s interesting how empathy can make you overlook so many unsavory things about an individual?”

“ Would you like to repeat that to my face, Kvar? ” Because if he did, well. A lot of things of Kvar would find themselves busted to pieces. Including his hideous shoulder pads. Maybe stuffed down his throat, with a dunce cap placed on his head afterwards.
“... Very well then. Your taste in furniture is far too extravagant and it regularly clashes with the room it’s in.”
There were times Kvar would normally stand down about certain subjects. But the ideas of tastefulness, presentation, and fashion were ones he was not going to let pass.
“Now please don’t misunderstand me Lord Yuan. I have been extremely understanding and accepting of the many unconventional outfits worn in the Cruxis Organization. Even Lord Kratos’ -- which is a uniform as far as I’m aware. It’s the only thing I can’t blame him for. But what I do not understand is wearing that cape when it’s a potential hazard. The fabric of that has been caught on things several times.”
