The youth quilts broke my heart this year at #quiltcon2018. This is called America the Beautiful by Ann Guiam. She’s questioning if America is still beautiful and if the youth in schools today are already numb to school shootings.

Piecing complete - quilt top is finished. 😁The good: instructions were clear and easy to follow. The patron is super cute. Plus not so many seams to match up. The meh: using woven fabrics on curves is not for the faint of heart. Lots of scraps, which is good if you use them, but not so much if you don’t. #modowls #sewkindofwonderful #loominous #quickcurveruler
