Had the first of my 6 assessment appointments today. Wasn’t particularly difficult but it feels weird that something I’ve just joked about for many, many years is either going to be proved or completely blown out the window

Happy Autism Acceptance Month

I finally bit the bullet and am perusing combined Autism/ADHD testing

Alzheimer’s and dementia has taken (and continues to take) so much from my family.

I dunno what the point of this post is apart from as an outlet. It’s just overwhelming at the moment and I’m not sure how we’re just going to go through all this once again.

Moved into our house. We’ve had the worst run of bad luck and bad news since, so we haven’t even been able to celebrate it. Between the two of us we have 3 close relatives in hospital at the moment and that’s on top of logistical bad luck stuff. It’s been so bad that we both feel like we’ve done the wrong thing in moving 💔

Instead of getting ghosted by boys I now just get ghosted by plasterers and electricians

I guess its probably just that the same shitty boys are now also old with jobs 🤷‍♀️

Had our offer accepted on a house on the Essex/Suffolk Border and yesterday got our mortgage application accepted too 💅 obvs it might still all fall through but exciting all the same

I married my best friend and soulmate 11 days ago. It was honestly the happiest day of my life. But as ridiculous at sounds, it only truly sunk in today.

We were cooking dinner this evening and he said to me “this is our first time cooking dinner together as husband and wife” then enveloped me in a big hug. We swayed together to the song on the radio and I started crying happy tears because I just felt so so safe and so content. This is truly all I’ve ever wanted.

We have two cats now, they both have FIV but the new boy, Locke also has one eye

He likes to sit on laps and be as up in your face as possible all the time

Him and Tess weren’t huge fans at first and there was a lot of grumbles from her especially but now they’ve got into a routine of following each other around 24/7 and hanging out as close as possible without actually touching

It’s only been a month so I’m calling “the integration” a success

Got rear-ended at high speed on the m25 today so now my car may well be written off 😬😬
