Shout out to all the kids out there who want to act professionally but are constantly told they can't do it because it's too risky. But so is any other job. And if the risk pays off? You're acting baby, and nothing can stop you. You'll struggle. But stick with it. You're a star. Anthony Ramos struggled. He didn't have an agent or anything. Anyone else feel caged by people? Telling you that you would be better off doing something different and not what you love? My family wants me to go into forensics. They say I'll be good at that. Yeah, maybe. But I want to act. I want to be on a stage doing choreography that leaves me sore the next morning. I want to perform six nights a week and flop into bed exhausted then get up early and repeat. I want to share inside jokes with my castmates. I don't care if I'm back up or be a standby and stand in a dressing room all night. Just let me be there!

Someone on twitter tonight very kindly informed me that, waaaaay back once upon a time in 2011, @linmanuel posted his dream cast for a West Wing musical on his now-defunct blog. And since the internet never forgets, I share it with you all now.
