āWhen It Hits Realityā āIāve fallen in love. I am an ordinary human. I didnāt think such violent things could happen to ordinary people.ā Ā Said Lara Jesson to Dr. Alec Harvey in the film Brief Encounter, 1945. Love is one of the most surprising and unpredictable sense that we have in our body. We feel the hype, we feel that bitterness when it does not meet our satisfaction. I was supposed to talk about love but I think itās overrated. Why not we talk about ourselves instead? We tend to look at the shortcomings of other people yet so blinded about ourselves. Life doesnāt really have a standard, we only set them to satisfy our needs, goals, and lifestyle. We are free to do whatever we want, this is a free country but is it enough reason to say whatever you have said? To post whatever you have posted? To comment whatever you comment? Who knows? I donāt know if Iām the right one who should be telling you this but who cares? After all, this is a free country, right? I am entitled of whatever I want to say, right? Well, I hate to burst your bubble, guys, but, freedom isnāt absolute⦠nothing in this world is absolute. Let me educate you, what we call, āThis is my rightā, you are just being that entitled crying baby waiting to be fed by their mommy. Keep learning. Never ever stop learning. Learning or knowing that other people have those your so-called rights, too. Because yet again, nothing is absolute. Your freedom becomes a violation of ones right the moment you drag other people down.
