resident genius

The weather was surprisingly nice. The sun was shining and it felt warm on Seungbo’s skin, even though there was a chill in the air. It was a great day to just relax, maybe just take a stroll through town and enjoy the company of no one but yourself. Seungbo walked down the street, heading nowhere in particular. He took step after step, enjoying the fresh air with hardly a care in the world. It was nice, for just a moment. He hadn’t gotten farther than four or five blocks when an eerie sort of feeling grew in the air around him. Seungbo thought nothing of this, shrugging it off as just another possibly demonic occurrence in the town. Nothing new. Another block down, and suddenly Seungbo realized the feeling wasn’t going away. It wasn’t just the town; it was following him. It was following him.
Something had been following Seungbo for a few weeks now, almost every time he left his apartment. The first week was a bit unsettling, but for the most part, he just disregarded it. But the feeling it brought kept getting bigger, and stronger every day. He swears that one time, something reached out and grabbed his shoulder: a hot, frightening weight pulling him back as though it were going to drown him in its hazy uneasiness. Even that wasn’t enough to dissuade Seungbo. But today, it finally got to him. It wasn’t a hand reaching out for him or a voice yelling for him or any number of horrible things that finally set him on edge. It was nothing more than the pure, heavy, intense fear that suddenly struck Seungbo deep in his heart that finally caused him to crack.
That was it. He couldn’t live like this. Seungbo immediately rerouted himself to east Iri, hoping that he could get away from this thing. He could faintly recall hearing about some genus that lived in that part of town. Maybe he could help Seungbo find out just what or who was following him. As he made his way across town, the haunting feeling of being followed never left. Mostly, Seungbo just ignored it, or at least, he tried to. He was used to the feeling by now, but that didn’t mean he liked it, and he definitely wanted it to stop. Seungbo arrived at what he hoped was Joonho’s apartment after asking a few people in the area about the “resident genius.” He got a few strange looks, but he was able to find the place easy enough. He took a breath and knocked on the door. He hoped he wasn’t getting in over his head about this whole thing.

Introduction
Hello, everyone! I’d like to introduce to you Seo Seungbo. He’s a bit blunt and gets into trouble more often than he should, but really, he’s a pretty cool guy. Don’t be afraid to swing by and talk about plots (which I’ll post just as soon as midterms are over) or just say hi :)
