I'm still here.

Just as an update since I have been greatly lacking in that area - I've been on the road again since the last week of September. I have had terrible signal, internet, motivation to post over the last several weeks but hope to give more detailed updates when I can.

Ohio / August 9-16

Ohio consisted of Cedar Point, crashing on my new friend Anthony's couch for the week, and exploring with friends. Anthony lives in Dayton, but I made my way down to Cincinnati one day to hang with my friend Drew, went up to Toledo with Anthony, explored Columbus, and finished up in Cleveland.

I met several new friends like Lucas in Toledo, Mark in Cincinnati, Adam in Columbus, and Patrick in Cleveland. Ohio was a fun state.

Ohio / August 9-16

Michigan / August 2-9

I spent about a week in Michigan with my friend Allie and her family. She lives in Brighton, but we explored Ann Arbor, Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Grand Haven over the course of the week. Allie lives in the Northwest, but has been living with her parents for a couple months working and figuring stuff out. Most of the pace the week was pretty slow, but not too slow. We did stuff everyday, but also took time to just sit and talk and watch movies.

I also got to hang out with my friend Filmore who I had met in Springfield, MO the year before and meet some new friends as well.

Impromptu Castle Island Meet

First night in Boston a couple weeks ago.

August 1

I woke up at 5 to get ready for a sunrise hot air balloon launch happening at the beginning of the Indiana State Fair. Brad got up as well and made me breakfast, which was super kind and awesome. I got to the fair just before sunrise and met up with a small group of grammers. We watched as the pilots prepared and blew up their crafts and eventually they one by one lifted off the ground into the distance. I had never seen anything like it. Not a bad way to start the morning.

I came back and worked on stuff again at the coffee shop down the street until I met up with Brad for lunch at a burger joint just down the road. After lunch, I drove into town and met up with a guy named Scotty who I had met the other night at the museum. We talked for a little bit while the rain passed and then walked around and took photos. We even managed to get into some places that not everyone is allowed - so that was cool.

I had dinner with Brad and edited some photos while he went out. I was planing on going back to the fair with some people, but the threat of rain called that one off.
