May I ask why you dislike when Hank tops? I mean... does it even matter who tops or who bottoms if they love each other no matter what?

Alright, let me answer you. This can be hard for some people to understand.

Do I dislike Hank being the top? No, I don't hate it—I read Hank x Gavin fanfic too. I just don't like Connor being the bottom. A lot of the time, Connor as the bottom drives me crazy. If you really want to know why, it's because Connor as the bottom doesn't align with my understanding and perception of the character.

Is the top/bottom dynamic important? It depends. Not every pairing I like has a fixed top/bottom role. Take Dartchet, for example—it doesn't matter to me whether either is top or bottom.

Does their top/bottom dynamic relate to their love? Not for me. I'm someone who separates love and sex. I use one set of logic for their love and another for their sexuality.

Ultimately, it's just a matter of personal preference. I'm accustomed to setting my own boundaries and keeping things I dislike at bay.
