“May the God who is all love be your unchanging home, your cell and your cloister in the midst of the world.” - ST ELIZABETH OF THE TRINITY 🌹🙏🌹 tradcatfem.com
St. Joseph ❤️ Scapular! My store is launching today at 4pm (PT). I’ll post a link when it gets a bit closer!!!
Today’s the day kids!!!!!!
You are not gonna believe how small I’m making one of my scapulars...
I thought making them smaller would make the design more simple and require less time, making it more “affordable” but it does NOT make things more simple, in fact it makes it even harder 😂 🤦♀️ I’m doing single thread embroidery and the design is smaller than the head on a dime

Saint of the Day – 4 October – St Francis of Assisi OFM (c 1181–1226)- Founder of the Franciscan Order, Confessor of the Faith, Stigmatist. Francis set out to imitate Christ and literally carry out His work. This is vital in understanding Francis’ character, his affinity for the Eucharist and respect for the priests who carried out the sacrament. He preached: “Your God is of your flesh, He lives…

“Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” - Matt 14:27
Icon by Helen Hodson
The Fourteen Holy Helpers are a group of saints venerated together in Roman Catholicism because their intercession is believed to be particularly effective, especially against various diseases. This group of Nothelfer (“helpers in need”) originated in the 14th century at first in the Rhineland, largely as a result of the epidemic (probably of bubonic plague) that became known as the Black Death. The Fourteen Holy Helpers are:
St. Achatius: May 8th – Headaches
St. Barbara: Dec. 4th – Fever - Sudden death
St. Blaise (Blasé, Blasius): Feb. 3rd – Ills of the throat
St. Catherine of Alexandria: Nov. 25th - Sudden death
St. Christopher: July 25th – Plagues - Sudden death
St. Cyriacus (Cyriac): Aug. 8th – Temptations
St. Denis (Dionysius): Oct. 9th – Headaches
St. Erasmus (Elmo): June 2nd – Abdominal maladies
St. Eustachius (Eustace): Sep. 20th – Family trouble
St. George: Apr. 23rd – Protection of domestic animals
St. Giles (Aegidius): Sep.1st – Plagues - Good Confession
St. Margaret of Antioch: July 20th – Safe childbirth
St. Pantaleone: July 27th – Physicians
St. Vitas (St. Guy):June 15th – Epilepsy
Invocation of the Holy Helpers
Fourteen Holy Helpers, who served God in humility and confidence on earth and are now in the enjoyment of His beatific vision in Heaven; because thou persevered till death thou gained the crown of eternal life. Remember the dangers that surround us in this vale of tears, and intercede for us in all our needs and adversities. Amen.
