Hey.

:)
â...So you like Giblet more or do you like Trunks more?â -Katsumi, being all sly //askthesaiyangang
âWhatcha talkinâ about? I like âem both!â
Fun fact! Bugs are an excellent source of protein. Protein helps you get jacked! Therefore you must eat bugs to get jacked!
âYa say that as if I ainât done that before.â

If there was something that could not be prevented, it was the fact that it would inevitably come to one of the biggest conflicts of their time. At least when seen from the perspective of the Kallion of the past.
âKallion?â
Tarble somehow tried to get her attention. She seemed so absent minded. Like this woman with her little child in her arms wasnât here anymore.
âKallion? Hello?â maybe she was just trying to sort out her thoughts. The whole situation was not only a challenge for the child. She was also struggling with the situation.
âItâs okay,â Trunks now interfered in his uncleâs conversation. âWeâd better look around to see if we can spot anything. Giblet seems to be taking a long time about it. â Something told him they were being watched. Trunks already knew exactly by whom.
Kallion, the modern one, perked up upon hearing her name. The situation was confusing at times, but it soon became clear who he was talking too. She saw the Princess drift off-- to the point of almost dropping her daughter, which immediately snapped her back to reality.Â
âHey,â She leaned over to Trunks. âYou get that feeling too? I was gonna say somethinâ but, ah, Princess over there looked like she could topple over at any minute.â
After taking a deep breath, she began to focus her energy on everyone around her; whether they were friend or foe. She felt her counterpart and her daughter, Trunks, Tarble, Yume, Chronoa...
And something was off. Whatever else she was feeling, it was far away but poweful. It took her back for a moment.
âI really hope we ainât open targets out here.â

âIâm not forcing you to do anything!â he said straight out. âYouâre not alone in this either. Remember that.â
He would be with her. No matter what was to come. He would stay with her. Come what may.
But just like Kallion, he looked towards the sunset with a certain kind of fear. Not much would be missing until his and Kallionâs world would cease to exist. An old life like before would not exist anymore.
âI am sure that fate will hold something great open for us. I am convinced of it.â
â...â Her chest ached. Kallion scooted closer to Giblet, resting her head against his shoulder. âIf you say so...stay with me here for a while, then. At least I know youâll never leave me. Promise me that.â
Somehow, he was more of a constant in her life than her own father. The day he saved her from drowning in a pond, despite his resentment and hatred toward her family, was the start of everything. Nothing before then seemed to matter. Now, things would be changing. It was her duty to see it through.
--
Maybe it was naivety that fueled her determination. As she stood in the small group of patrollers and Kais, clutching her napping toddler, she found herself completely zoning out from the conversation. Her modern counterpart was leaning against Trunks with a grin on her face.
Perhaps their situation was looking up for the moment. They had more help, after all. But all she could feel was dread-- well, dread and need.Â
She needed to see him. She wanted to prove everyone wrong; everyone including herself. He could be brought back, he would never hurt her. After everything theyâd went through, Kallion would never accept any other outcome.
//So not only have I started another new job, but I also am in the process of moving to a new apartment. Iâm sorry Iâve been so absent, I feel terrible about itÂ

Only when he saw her tail hanging down from one of the trees, he could be sure it was her. âThere you are!â with a powerful swing he lifted himself onto the tree right next to her. The thick branch gave enough space for two Saiyans.
âHave you been fighting with your father again?â He did not look at her sternly. Much more he tried to be understanding to her. Her situation was more than hopeless. Unless a miracle happened, Kallion would have to marry this man.
Giblet knew that and it almost tore him apart. âEven if I should not be here anymore. Believe me, I will come to visit as often as I can. I promise you that. Weâre still friends.â Actually, much more than friends. Giblet began to move closer to her, putting his hand on hers and listening to the birds sing.
âIf only we could fly away like those blackbirds. Then everything would be so much easier.â
âWe can,â She snickered. âWeâre just not allowed to. Hey...why would you have to leave?â Kallion squeezed his hand tight. Her urge to push him off and away had vanished, and she found herself scooting closer. âYouâre supposed to guard me, right?â
Her smile was weak. That sense of dread only grew as she looked toward the sunset, marking another day closer to when she would be given away.
Thinking about it made her ill. Her fingers laced together with Gibletâs, and she closed her eyes. âAh, but maybe he would insist. Mm...maybe heâll be kind, though. Father wouldnât make me marry someone cruel. Would he?â
There was that sinking feeling again. Kallion loved her father-- he was all she truly had for certain. But as far as Kings went, had he ever been particularly strong? He was rather pliable, given to impulses and a need for approval. Something she knew was seen as humiliating to the more traditional Saiyans of Sadala.
But she was his heir. Would he set her up for failure? She swallowed back whatever was coming up her throat. âIâm not going home right now. Donât make me.â

âBut not so formal.â Tarble tried with difficulty to get out of this situartion. âIâm not like my brother. Just call me Tarble. Something like prince or master is a little awkward for me now that Planet Vegeta is gone.â
He even put a happy expression on his face to once again take out the seriousness of the situation. âYumeâs and Trunksâ friends are my friends too. No matter from where or from what timeline.â
âMomâŠâ again the little girlâs hesitant voice. âI want to leave here.â her eyes looked again and again to strange carriages as they simply drove without horse or the same. A sight that frightened her.
âI want to go back to Doro and the chickens. To the forest. I hate this place.â
-
âKallion?â
He called her name the way he always did when she was hiding in the forest again. âWhere are you?â He couldnât get home without her. Giblet knew that very well.
But since she had learned that she would soon be married, she was only traveling or training. Soon that would no longer be possible.
âNow come on. We were supposed to go hunting today.â
âA, it ainât so bad Polla. Just take a nap, okay?â We canât run away. Iâm tired of running. She let Polla rest on her shoulder, and gave a sympathetic glance toward her modern counterpart. Losing a home wasnât unfamiliar to either of them, aparently.
Said counterpart nodded. âSir-- er, I mean...uh, Tarble. Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.â
--
Her tail dangled from the tree branch, idly swaying back and forth. Summer, she thought with a smile. The breeze brought with it the unmistakable scent of the seasons imminent arrival.Â
She needed its rejuvenating warmth more than anything. Its longer days and shorter nights. Anything to keep her out and away from the palace, which was becoming more and more suffocating by the day.
Gibletâs voice carried through the breeze, but she found herself ignoring it. As nice as it would have been to be with him...no. He would force her back home.
âHunting...â She clicked her teeth. Normally, she would be excited-- but most things felt like a chore nowadays. Ever since her father announced her surprise engagement. Everything, every morning filled her with dread. Would today be the day sheâd be forced to meet him, and forced to go through with their plans?
She was a princess, though. Kallion knew it would happen someday. But the reality of it felt like a punch to the gut.Â

âYou donât have to apologize!â Tarble said as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
âSheâs just a little girl. Sheâll be better when sheâs bigger. Wasnât young lady?â Polla looked away as expected. She didnât really trust the stranger and clung all the tighter to her mother. The days of escape, loneliness and then the situation of her parents overwhelmed the little girl immeasurably.
âI want to go homeâŠâ she said quietly to herself while the last candy disappeared into her mouth. âI understand.â Tarble now said as well. âIâd like that someday, too. It wasnât hard to see that he missed this familiar home, too. "But I have a mission, and that comes first.â
Home. Kallion wrung her hands together. Planet Vegeta was a rough, rocky, and unforgiving place-- but it was her home nonetheless. She was a Saiyan who felt its loss every day, as if she were back on that lonely planet watching it explode with her very eyes again and again.
But she had learned to live and move on, comforted by the people she met and knew in Conton and the chance at a second life they had given her. Her royal counterpart would have no such comfort, having grown up and loved planet Sadala and its people. They were her people, after all. She, their rightful ruler.
Maybe there was a chance they could all salvage it in the end. Kallion grinned at Tarble. âAnd what would that mission be? Er, if ya donât mind me askinâ, sir.â

He was a bit confused, but he still remained polite. Heck, he was even friendly enough to hold out his hand in front of her.
âIâm glad to meet you. Thatâs really unusualâ he said with a smile on his lips. âAnd you tooâŠâ he said now to the little girl in her arms. âYou look really cute. I hope youâre a very good girl too.â His hand reached into his pants pocket. Even if it was only a few pieces of candy. It was like a friendship offer to the child.
âLook, this is for you.â
Polla was instantly wide awake. The little girl practically snatched the candy from Tarbleâs hand, and ripped at it like a ferocious kitten. âHey! Polla, what do you say?!â
âItâs yummy!â She squealed, before catching her mothers severe look. âUh...t-thank you.â
Better. She shifted her back to the other hip. âSorry, I swear sheâs got manners. Itâs just...her scheduleâs been thrown off to hell, so sheâs a little out of it.â
Her modern counterpart hid her snicker. Was she this uptight in another timeline? Hard to imagine-- Kallion was just as bad, if not worse, than the young Polla when she was a child. To say nothing of her state when first coming to Conton, after years of being alone in the wild.
Clearly, her royal self would be mortified. Kallion had tried to bite just about everyone she came into contact with.

Trunks was really relieved when he saw his uncle here. It was almost as if time would work for them this time. Apart from the fact that the people here were still unaware that here soon a battle would go from statte.
At least now there was a small, even really only a small time of peace.
Tarble, as Trunks was used to, apologized for his tardiness. There were things to discuss and to do. There was no way around it.
âI hope you are all well. I wanted toâŠâ his gaze instantly fell on the little girl who was here in the background. Who was just lying in her motherâs arms and wanted to go home.
âOh, whoâs that?â
âHm?â The Princess blinked. âOh, uh, this is my daughter; Polla.â She shifted Polla to her other hip. âShe wonât get in the way, I promise. Hell, uh, I wish she didnât have to be here at all...â
Polla was groggy, letting out a ferocious yawn as her eye lids grew heavy. âHi,â She mumbled in a tiny voice. Kal smiled-- if she slept through all of this, it would be for the best.
Kallion, the modern one, lightly bowed her head. âUh...h-hi! Sir! My lord, uh--â She cleared her throat. âIâm Trunksâ partner, Kallion! Erm, sheâs Kallion too. Different time line. You know how it is.â
âUhh...â Tarble cocked an eyebrow. âI...sure!â

âOh please!â
Outraged that this brat dared to challenge her, Chronoa stepped in. She had been silent all the time. But now was the time for her to say something. Dia had more than crossed the line and challenged everyone in the group, not physically but verbally, to fight with her.
âDia, it would be better if you went home now. I thought you might be able to help us. FinallyâŠ.â she held back from saying what might have been true. But hiding it from Dia was useless. She did nothing but adjust her glasses before taking off the fashionable scarf. All just to throw this Chronoa in the mix in protest.
âGo ahead and say it. Say that you are the better of the two of us. That Iâll never be as good as you. Like everyone back then.â Really angry about everything here, she gave the group a look that would have turned anyone into dust.
âIf only I had stayed in that box.â she pressed out of her lips one last time. All that remained was Kai walking away, preferring to spend his time admiring clothes and chimneys.
âWait a minuteâŠâ Trunks called after her while Chronoa just silently watched her walk through the building. âLet her. She never really wanted to do that task after all. Dia⊠no Diana has always been shy when it came to proving herself. Even though she often opens her mouth very wide. Basically she wants to live in her own little world. Free from responsibility and conflict as it was then.â
âBut what about GibletâŠâ interjected Trunks. âIf he attacks her?â âSheâll know how to help herself. Donât underestimate her abilities.â Was all Chronoa said. It was like a happy circumstance when her eyes saw two figures in the sky. âLook, thereâs Tarble and Yume!â
Oh jeez. Kallion felt a little out of her element all of a sudden. Divine sibling resentment...nope, not something she ever wanted to deal with. She was an only child as far as she was concerned, and boy did she appreciate that fact. One look at her royal counterpart said that she had the same thought.
Still, there was a sadness in her bossâs eyes that was hard to miss. Chronoa was naturally loud, optimistic-- no doubt this was far from the first or last time sheâd try to reach her sister.
For now, they needed to move on. Tarble and Yume arrived just on time. Her face lit up, before realizing she was in the presence of a Saiyan prince.
âA-Ah!â She found herself clutching Trunksâ sleeve, while the princess looked up at the two coming with curiosity. Another royal, she thought. Another Saiyan...not quite like me.Â
Chi ha detto che l'amore tra Saiyan non esiste? Who said that love between Saiyan doesnât exist?
