The fast way to save your Blog content

ssssssstumbler:I saw this on Fet in the Tumblr Kinsters section, by ClearSkies. I tried it, and downloaded all 64,066 files in just under 2 hours (1:53). It took 14.5 GB of local disk space to save everything (mostly pictures).

ClearSkies: Wanna save that little treasure trove? You can! I was trying to do it the TUmblr way, but they were restrictng the bandwidth or something, because it was slow as shit doing it that way. So, I did a little search and found this way, which after trying, worked fantastic.

If you’re on a Windows PC, it’s pretty easy — here’s what to do:

1. Download a program called TumblThree (via GitHub, HERE) https://github.com/johanneszab/TumblThree/releases/download/v1.0.8.63/TumblThree-v1.0.8.63-Application.zip

2. Unzip the program and run its executable

3. Follow TumblThree’s Instructions to indicate the Tumblr blog URL

4. Click Crawl to start the download.

In light of the recent news, Tumblr will discontinue Porn posts 12/17/18.

I will discontinue NSFW posts / reblogs on here as of now. I have heard people moving to Twitter, Reddit and kinkspace.net.

I do not have an account on any of those sites, but will post here if I ever get one.

Keeping The Community

I was working on a little project to allow our community to communicate in real time, but I had planned to go forward in the new year. Given the recent news that Tumblr is basically eliminating our NSFW/BDSM community, I pushed this project to the fast track.

Some of you may be familiar with Discord. It’s a chat server that allows for a lot of neat functions and is super easy to use. There is desktop, mobile, and web versions. In addition to text, we can also have voice chat. You will have to verify your age in order to access NSFW content.

I’ve created Home Kinky Home, and I hope you will join us. Please keep in mind this server is new and we are open to suggestions, so please bear with us if there are hiccups. We are also looking for some great moderators to help us out.

I know this isn’t a solution for our Tumblrs disappearing and NSFW content being banned, but I hope it will at least give us a haven until we find something new. I also hope this will allow us to be even closer as a community.
