Surgery went well, i actually got out 12 hours ago but haven't been getting up for saying anything. They took off like 15 pounds so I'm much, much flatter then before. Pain sucks and I'm having issues with post-op depression and good forbid i stand up without nearly passing out z but i think it's ok
Worst part over hjgfvjg
I'm getting top surgery today, which is cool. I'm sure it'd be a cool whump research project if I wasn't so batshit terrified lmao
no one is allowed to ask me who Vince’s faceclaim is
So, I physically can't scream. I can holler, shout, and whatnot, but something with my vocal cords won't let me get loud enough to actually scream, I couldn't even do it as a baby or a little kid.
Do any of your whumpees have this same issue? Do any of your whumpers take advantage of that?
One of these days I'm going to write a hunger games -esque YA novel and its gonna be fuckin killer

The whumpee is so conditioned to not eat human food that when they’re rescued and the caregiver tries to get them to eat human food, they break down insisting that no, they can’t eat that, they can only eat dog food, please, they’re so hungry, they’ll be good, please get them the right food.
A full twenty-four hours go by before the caregiver breaks and goes to the store to buy dog food.
A dehumanized whumpee that got to have a dog toy with them when they were still in captivity, months after being rescued they still hold onto the toy, because it brings them so much comfort.
I see a lot of whumpees being muzzled by the whumper out of cruelty or as a humiliation tactic but what about whumpees who need to be muzzled because they’re not above biting their captor at every chance they get?

What made Vince choose to go after Lyndon?
Partially random selection, partially Lyndon being Vince’s type, partially Lyndon being a loner. Vince had a few other options, but Lyndon was in the wrong place at the wrong time (the first time, at least. The second time, Vince really just wanted to get back at him for the pepperspray)
Any phobias for Lyndon and/or Vince?
I’m actually trying to avoid giving Lyndon any phobias, since Colten’s story is so focused around them.
But Vince, weirdly enough, actually has a mild phobia of blood.
Is Lyndon headstrong? You mentioned that Vince is going with the dehumanizing approach, how long does it take for Lyndon to break?
Lyndon is very headstrong, and has a lot of pride, most of which comes from a long battle against terrible self esteem. By the time Vince gets a hold of him, Lyndon recovered from pretty much all of his past traumas, so Vince has to work a lot harder to find a weak point.
Does Lyndon have any skills in his tool belt that could help him fight back? Or at least hold off the inevitable whumping?
Damn, I really haven’t thought about that at all, hm
He seems like he’s always prepared, carries a knife and pepperspray, keeps extra cash in hidden pockets in case he gets mugged, has food storage at his apartment, etc. His preparedness is probably the only thing that gives him any way to fight back.
The first time Vince tries to abduct Lyndon, I imagine he has no idea that Lyndon is in any way prepared to fight back. Vince gets peppersprayed, has a few punches thrown at him, and has to retreat. He was smart enough to wear a mask in case there were any cameras nearby, but the mask is the only reason Lyndon doesn’t call the police on him.
For the second attempt, Vince takes a slower approach and befriends Lyndon, spikes his drink, and drags him home.
Also, even though Lyndon is new to town, is anyone noticing that he’s missing when Vince gets ahold of him?
Not really, but not because he doesn’t have people who care about him, Vince is just really good at covering his tracks. Lyndon’s social media, phone contacts, anything he used to keep in touch with family and friends was hijacked by Vince, who made posts about Lyndon “going off the grid for a bit, wanting to find himself” which, luckily for Vince, isn’t really out of character for Lyndon.
