Can we take a moment to appreciate all the female transformers in the Animated universe?
Of course we have; Sari, one of the best kid characters the series has ever given us, Blackarachnia/Elita-1, a tragic character with her own agenda, Arcee who plays a major role in Project Omega, and Slipstream, Starscream’s mysterious female clone.
But we also have characters like:
Strika: Megatron’s chosen “General of Destruction”, Leader of Team Chaar, and Lugnut’s consort (who knew Lugnut was part royalty? XD). She lives for war, and with her perfect mixture of immense strength and brilliant military tactical mind, Strika is indeed a dangerous foe.
Red Alert: Though top of her class in Protihex Medical Mechnical, Red Alert’s bedside manners leaves something to be desired. She did develop a cure for Gold Plastic Syndrome, and lost her servo to a Decepticon booby trap, replacing it with a Transfer Interlink. These days, she serves as field medic for Rodimus Prime’s team (and she was originally supposed to be part of the main cast, until the writers replaced her with Ratchet.).
And Flashpoint: A search-and-rescue worker, who works under Fixit in the Rescue Patrol, Flashpoint doesn’t hesitate to put her own spark in danger if it means helping others. She is also an instructor, teaching medics like Minerva.
Chromia: A forensic accountant who is harder than nails and will chew out anyone who crosses her. She also likes collecting Furnacian pottery and having a drink at Maccadam’s.
Minerva: Having been trained as a medic by Fixit, Minerva was then dispatched to Earth so she could gain essential field experience under Ratchet’s tutelage. Only to steer of course and crash land in Canada, where she scanned a Japanese car as her chosen vehicle mode.
Drag Strip: A Decepticon who wields two laser swords, she is part of Team Stunticons, tasked with breaking Megatron out of prison (and grudgingly playing the role of damsel in distress in their fake stunt show.).
And Nightbeat: A young and inexperience detective with some raw talent and incredible insight.
Override Prime: Marking the first official female Prime to exist within the series, Override Prime, along with 11 other autobots, played key roles in Project Omega. During the Great War, Override Prime was chosen to pilot, Kappa Supreme, and presumably went offline after Blitzwing destroyed her ship, while she was protecting a supply convoy. Since Arcee never got the chance to transfer her activation codes over to Omega Supreme, this makes Override Prime the only female out of the 12 pilots.
Kappa Supreme: Codename designation, Chromia X, Kappa Supreme was the eleventh, and only female Omega Sentinel. She was bonded to Override Prime and eventually destroyed by Blitzwing, while trying to escort a supply convoy. She provided them with enough time to escape, though whether or not Override Prime went offline with her is unknown.
Rosanna/Flip Sides: Is an popular autobot singer who likes to collect various cybernetic animals. Though, she may or may not be the Decepticon Spy, Flip Sides that Blurr was trying to track down (assuming of course that Rosanna is even aware that she might be a spy…).
Lickty-Split: A waitress at Maccadam’s Old Oil House, who wants to quit her job and win a Golden Disk in the Tour de Orgenon.
And Lightbright: A search and rescue bot who can transform into a dual-purpose hovercraft/submersible. Her powerful lights and size allow her to scour small and tight places that other crafts can’t get to.
Botanica: A member of the Autobot High Council and a skilled botanist who cleared a Morphobot infestation on Daffodil II, Botanica has quite the social standing, but many have questioned her decision to be in a relationship with Rattletrap, a dirt rat who deals in illegal services.
Flareup: A bot with a southern accent, a fondness for explosives, and kicking decepticon skidplate. Flareup originally trained in search-and-rescue, back in boot camp, but now works in demolition; tearing through Decepticons, and even blowing up a communication tower. She’s currently in a relationship with Warpath.
Glyph: A researcher who specializes in archaeometry, but is a bit of a wallflower, as she’s normally seen far too engrossed in her data files than making friends. She is however close friends with Tap-Out, who in turn is very protective of her (especially when around her ex-boyfriend).
Road Rage: An Autobot Bounty hunter who isn’t in it for the credits, but solely to bring criminals to justice. To help her in her crusade are her Trilenial sensors, which allow her to detect when her quarry is armed. She may also be acquainted with Excellion and Glyph.
Clipper and Antagony: An Autobot and Decpeticon, respectively, who like drinking at Maccadam’s and have their faces on the menu.
Sureshock: A mini-con who works as a guard inside the Trypticon Prison, making sure Decepticon prisoners, like Megatron, don’t escape.
Wingthing: One of Soundwave’s many prototypes. She screams. A lot.
And last but not least, the transformers who were officially named in-universe, but never had any artwork of them.
Quickslinger: Though Quickslinger may be slow at most thing, she’s fast on the draw. She attended boot camp with Hot Rod (Rodimus Prime), Blaster and Skram, and trained by their drill Sargent, Kup Minor.
Windy: The number one singer on Cybertron (but don’t tell Rosanna that).
Beta: One of the listed Decepticon prisoners currently held in the Trypticon Prison.
Anyone who opposes Megatron in any, way, shape, or form will meet a gruesome end. Nothing stands in his way, and any attempt to do so will be in vain.
Just a few mere seconds before that scene, Megatron is attempting to execute Prowl. He recalled how Prowl had severed his arm, and it was time to pay the consequences for this action.
Then in comes Optimus. Not only does he stand in Megatron’s way, but he stops Megatron from trying to punish someone else for their earlier interference. That’s two counts of defiance in one action. And the way that they show this…
Those who defy Megatron die. They (metaphorically and sometimes literally) meet his sword for their defiance. And in that moment, Optimus stands in the reflection of his sword. Where others before him have cowered before this blade, he stands boldly, unwavering, unafraid. Not even the threat of death will shake him from his quest to stand in Megatron’s way.
This one little action, this one little scene, is the greatest act of defiance anyone has ever committed against Megatron.
Optimus stood in his way, stopped Megatron from executing someone he thought deserving, and refuses to be afraid.
Three counts of defiance in just one action.
Optimus sure is the stubborn little Autobot, isn’t he?
Oneshot of What If Thundercracker Came Across One Of The Humans He Spared When The Decepticons Were On A Genocidal Rampage!!
Please tell me I'm not the only one who's been thinking about this obsessively.
Thundercracker avoided interacting with humans whenever he could.
Yes, he promised to himself he would protect them now, but he had blood on his hands. Directly or not, it didn't matter to him. He once stood by and watched the Decepticons crush humans into paste or burn them to a crisp, without doing anything to stop them. With all the things he witnessed, looking at humans in the eyes was... Difficult.
Which is why he was very uncomfortable right now.
Optimus had insisted that Thundercracker participates in an effort to aid humans in repairing a dam. A bit more electricity would be a blessing for a community trying to recover from the Decepticons' rampage.
He almost ignored the humans as he lifted pillars and machinery. A part of him was also afraid that humans learned to associate red glowing eyes with the cybertronians that ruined their lives. Well, it wasn't real fear no, of course these humans didn't threaten him, no matter how angry they could get. It wasn't fear, it was simply shame.
At some point, Silverbolt forced him to take a break. He seemed to notice something was wrong with Thundercracker.
So Thundercracker crossed his arms and sighed, leaning against the face of the cliff.
Unfortunately he noticed a human staring at him.
He gave the human a quick glance, and looked away. Just ignore them... It will pass. Humans barely ever start friendly conversations with Cybertronians, especially not with him.
But the human hesitantly walked closer. Ugh, this is going to end up being an interaction one way or another, isn't it?
He looked at the human. Big eyes. Meek. They looked silly and too small for their big security vest. A creature. But they didn't appear to be a young one, just weak compared to other humans around. He respected their willingness to help in a mission that required strength, despite their lack of it.
"...Everything alright, human?..." He said awkwardly.
But the human just stared, like they were amazed. Surely it wasn't their first time looking at a Cybertronian?... There were other cybertronians around, some way friendlier than him... So why him?
He became nervous. Was it the red eyes?... Was this about him looking like Starscream?...
"...It's... It's you..."
Thundercracker blinked, his spark twisting uncomfortably. "Uh... I... I don't think-..."
"it's you. You saved my life." The human insisted.
"...What?..." Thundercracker frowned in confusion. Processing. When did he personally save a human's life?...
"During the attack... You let us get away..."
Thundercracker squinted, studying the human that was in front of him... Then his eyes went wide in recognition as it all came back to him. That? That one time he shooed away some humans while Soundwave wasn't looking?... Yes... He sort of remembered one of the humans having those eyes...
"Ah-..." He had no idea what to say... Apologize? Say he's glad they made it out alive? Nothing felt right.
He shifted uncomfortably, trying to hide his surprise as the human looked at the aerialbots around.
"...So you're with the... auto-bots, now?"
"If you can still call us that..." But he shook it off, that part wasn't important. He focused on the human. "You don't have to be afraid of me ever again. I swear on my spark."
"...I never stopped thinking about you, you know?... It kept me up at night, wondering if you really meant to do that..."
"...Meant to... help you...?" He said hesitantly.
"Yeah... I mean... Suddenly out of nowhere aliens are real and they're right here, blowing everything up and.. and... We can't help but ask ourselves 'why are they doing this? What do they want?'... And then you. Back when it happened I didn't think about it, I just took the chance you gave us and ran, but after all that... I couldn't stop thinking about it. Sometimes I wondered if i just remembered it wrong, because it seemed so crazy to me... That one of you... giant metal aliens... had mercy on us... And I owe my life to that."
Ever since that day, he tried not to think too hard about those humans he allowed to escape, assuming they might not have made it out with all the other Decepticons around... He sighed. "You did not remember it wrong. I despise what we did to your kind..." He paused. "....I... I'm glad that one of you made it out alive..."
"Not just me!... Most of us made it out... Well, some of us."
Thundercracker wanted to force a smile for their attempt at bringing him good news, but instead he frowned with sympathy.
"...But it would have been none of us, if it weren't for you having just a smidge of compassion."
"Hm." He softened, accepting the point they were trying to make. He had to admit the human was somewhat endearing... Maybe it was just a little funny that the small creature felt the need to be kind to a hardened warrior from another world.
The human watched him quietly a moment, then. "...So, what's your name?..."
"Thundercracker." he replied, putting his knee down. It seemed like the polite thing to do to talk to a human. "...May I ask yours, human?"
"Robin... It's nice to properly meet you..."
He nodded. "You're right... It's... It's nice..."
Thundercracker couldn't look away from the human's eyes now. He believed the human should be bitter. They knew he used to be a Decepticon. They should realize what it means. And yet, despite everything, Robin's eyes were sparkling with gratitude. These eyes weren't the reason why autobots protect humans... But there sure was something motivating about them.
Nobody has ever looked at him like that before... or at least, he couldn't remember the last time someone did.
"...Perhaps we should get back to work, little thing."
"Right!..."
So he was back to working on the dam. This time with a human following him around. He did all the hard work, but he didn't mind. It was funny to watch Robin make lousy attempts at being helpful. Ah, where's the harm in letting them feel included?

Ok, so! Sari was abandoned by her mother in this place when the lady didn’t had the courage to show up with a child in her arms. Thank Primus Bee and Orion found her!
Even tho Orion was already preoccupied with his brother's safety and health, he couldn't leave a baby out there in the open. So now, the three of them are heading towards an orphanage to leave little Sari.
Her name was Orion's idea. As it is common in his family, he tried to name the baby after a relative: His aunt, Sara.
Benjamin, however, thought the baby deserved a more original name, so he!... changed one single letter.
I still have a lot more to this AU that I just didn't got to show you, guys. YET! I PROMISSE!

But I'm not gonna be touching a pen for a while. Ugh. 3 days straight making full illustrations. I felt like i was in artists hell. (It's my fault. What can I say?)
