I think I'm going to be sticking with an actual physical cookbook from now on because those recipes unlike the ones I find online, never actually screw up
Still waiting for Nexperia to move their European headquarters from the Netherlands to Spain
The Internet: LOL Mitch McConnel is gonna die any day now, just you wait!
Death Himself: Im gonna do what's called a pro-gamer move. Watch this.
in light of recent news
Y'ALL
Finally found a use for all of the freshly squeezed lime juice besides making cheese
Lime soda
I have to add salt to fight the acidity before I sweeten it, but it's basically like making iced tea out of Soda water and a little bit of juice
I've basically made homemade Lift, if I added a dash of lemon
The amount of salt is really going to depend on how much juice you use but I'm only really covering the bottom of the glass and giving the salt grinder two twists and it seems to do fine
Top up with soda water and add however much sugar to your liking
Finally got this done, I half assed it but somehow this just feels more on brand
The final pieces required to retreive
I don't actually know how to deal with Garlic and Ginger, but I do know that it takes a really long time to grow, and I need to get it started sooner rather than later
Wake up, babe, Occam's kazoo just dropped
How and when the fuck was it Sunday?
that's hot
Whatever small part I may have played in influencing people to support this man may be one of the best things I ever did online
This is the type of representative that people deserve
GOT MY BIKE!!! :) (How do you even do emojis on desktop?)
https://www.kmart.co.nz/product/70cm-esplanade-cruiser-bike-43419142/
It's pink and It's cute as hell with a pretty basket on the front
I had to buy it fully assembled so it did cost a little extra
I was going to buy the blue one but really it was too small, and I have no regrets getting the 70cm. Also the basket on the blue one was plastic and this one at least has a metal frame to it
I went to take it out of the store to ride it to the supermarket and discovered the chain wasn't actually threaded properly and I couldn't pedal it
I took it back inside to ask for help because the extra I paid was for fully assembled and I wasn't leaving without someone addressing the issue.
Turns out the bike guy wasn't in that day, so the ladies at the front are down with me on the floor trying to figure out how to thread it, which we did manage between us
Out of nowhere a semi-pro competitive cyclist (the type that spends thousands on just the gears alone) who just happened to be shopping right at that moment walks through the door of the store and takes over checking it over for us poor ladies struggling with this thing, tightens things properly, puts the chain where it needs to, tests the gear changes, makes sure everything is safe, and hands it back to me
I think I managed to get a better check over than I would have with the guy who assembled it to begin with, so at least I know it's safe to ride
I might need to put the seat down ever so slightly because I'm on tippy-toes when I stop, but it was definitely the right pick in terms of leg movement
Going to see if I can get one of those bags for the back thingy that matches the colour of the basket
The ride home wasn't too bad physically, and I think I did better than I thought I would have, I will admit my breathing has been hard lately but I did okay overall, and just did my best to maintain a constant speed
So I've been debating the accessories for this thing, so far I'm at:
drink bottle holder
pannier bag
spoke lights, although I highly doubt I'll be out at night, it would be good for visibility in general while traveling
this thing needs pretty flower stickers on it
the basket need a proper liner
some fake flowers along the front part of the basket
This might take some time because I'm going to be adhering to colour schemes for a change
I'm sick to fucking death of everything ending up mismatched, and IDGAF how long it takes to get the right thing that I actually want, the fucking colours will match, and it will be suitable for what I want
I finally figured out why I got the reaction from Honey man that I did
It turns out my favourite purple floral summer gardening dress is what you call a 'milkmaid' (I don't keep up with the names of these things, I just care if it's comfortable)
In retrospect, a green eyed brunette with a fresh tan and no bra wandering around in a milkmaid dress was probably a little much
Boys really got a thing for those dresses huh?
Noted.
Now I remember why I wanted to start coding to begin with
If I put the apps on the store and I'm the only one using them then everytime I watch and ad I get paid for using my own app
Infinite money glitch
You know what, if I'm going to learn to code it's going to be entirely for my own benefit, and purely just so I can replace the shit in my phone
So at least I have a goal
So I'm watching season 11 of Ancient Aliens and they're talking about Ramanujan and Turing etc
You have to acknowledge the likelihood that most of these people had some flavour of neuro-spicy
But they were talking about Ramanujan.......that man had Synesthesia
Apparently to him numbers had personalities, given his penchant for numbers and mathematics I would imagine he may have also had spatial sequence as it's common for synesthetes to have more than one flavour in their sundae
Apparently some things would come to him in dreams from a Goddess.....this is of course based around the subjective experience of his belief system growing up in Hinduism
But a lot of what they described about his experiences was VERY familiar to me, and I will admit I had a moment in the garden with Darwin
My focus as a child was not numbers like him, it was words and shapes
I don't know very much in depth about Ramanujan, but I am aware of some of the ideas he produced in his lifetime
