another funny meta thing about The Boys is how the show PR tried to pull out the "Antony Starr is soooo different from his character he's actually so sweet and loving🥰 " when dude is notoriously a(n alcoholic) public menace who's assaulted people more than once (lastly a poor bartender in Spain for whom he got sentenced to a few months in prison), is rumoured to be a pain in the ass for his female cast mate (there are rumors he was rude to the actress who played Maeve), and lately got exposed for liking a controversial comment on one of his insta post featuring a Black woman cosplaying as Startlght...
Sorry but I can't help but find hilarious how hard the PR of the show is trying to paint him as a good wholesome guy when he's very obviously not
Like- this whole thing is the exact plot of the show with Vaught constantly having to do damage control to cover the Superhumans ass and their shitty/problematic antics 💀
