Thinking about how Daniel did not even try to fight back. He just accepted whatever judgment Buck had for him. Yes, Buck is the scary assassin special military man with a gun, and he would have won 100%, but! Daniel is not a small man; he could have gotten at least a good few hits in, right? Guys like him usually hit like trucks.
But he just took the beating. Did he try to appeal to Buck's mercy? Was he just too surprised and caught off guard? Did he not think Buck would actually kill him? Did he resign and think fighting back would make it worse? Did he think: "What's the point? Just make it quick?" Was he just so full of guilt over realizing he was the bad guy all along that he took it as his punishment? Did he see Buck so much as a friend that he did not want to hurt him even with his life on the line? Can we have 13 episodes next season? I want to know more
