Showing some of my art process with 3 stages on this piece that I started in the beginning of October 2020. Straw-hat Luffy & his kick-@$$ pirate crew (before the time-skip, because while I still love them all so much, I kinda prefer their character designs this way from 10 years ago, lol.) I’m sitting on a back-log of my art that I’m trying to get posted up. The Guild Codex FANART!

I’ve been obsessed with this series of books lately to the point that I’m filling my sketchbooks with fan art. It’s been awhile since I’ve had the time to draw and social-distancing has allowed me the downtime. So, with my excitement for Lost Talismans and a Tequila - The Guild Codex: Spellbound book 7 release less than a week away, I wanted to finally share some of my completed fan art!! This scene isn’t a spoiler as it’s from the beginning of the first book, Three Mages and a Margarita - The Guild Code: Spellbound book 1. I’m sure I’ll be busy reading next weekend instead of drawing, but I do have a bunch more in-progress yet. hehe. I’ll have more to share soon, I think.  ;)

I enjoyed doing the #sailormoonredraw challenge! I’m dusting off the cobwebs on my Tumblr account to share my version! (It took me a bit to get it finished since I'm currently sharing my laptop with my daughter for her distance-learning.) My own version is the first image (colored in Clip Studio Paint), then my pencil sketch from my drawing pad, and then the original screen cap reference.

🎨Fan Art Contest Event: Draw Your Nikki

As soon as the game’s official Facebook page announced the event, I knew I wanted to enter. I’ve finally finished, after working on this off and on for about a week! Here’s my digital illustration, painted with Clip Studio Paint Pro, of the two ‘War on Ruins’  suits from my current favorite game/app, Love Nikki Dress Up Queen ! This was on of the first suits I targeted for my collection when I started playing this game almost a year ago. It has a blue version and a red/fuchsia version. I am a big fan of the futuristic/tech/sci-fi style designs of the outfits from the Ruin Island nation. I really wanted to create a piece of fan art that would allow me to have fun with dramatic lighting. (I had to sneak Momo into this art too!) I want to draw a few of my other favorite suits too but it is so hard to decide which ones!   #lovenikkifanart #lovenikki

STRANGER DRAGON AGE THINGS POSTER (A Dragon Age Crossover AU)

The Demogorgon Archdemon in the Upside-Down awaits… The Grey Wardens Alistair Theirin and Evie Cousland, along with the Witch of the Wilds Morrigan, plus a Mabari war hound, venture through the Korcari Wilds toward the town of Lothering. Will they defeat the Archdemon high-dragon and stop the 5th Blight from destroying all of Thedas?

(Even when watching an awesome show like Stranger Things, I’m still thinking of my beloved fav characters in Dragon Age and how they would fare in this alternate universe, so this is the wacky result.)

This is a gift for Emrys @emryss (carouselfancy on AO3) and Amy @grrowlithe (Tijgertje on AO3) !  You’ve said you enjoy receiving fan-art so I hope you will like my addition!  ♥ ‿ ♥

The art closeup image has a bit of a spoiler for the most recent chapter, but the original image illustrates many of their texting ‘conversations’. *^_^  I have been hooked on their Dragon Age [modern AU] fan-fic since the opening dialog of chapter one. It is so witty and adorable! Whenever I need a laugh I just go reread chapter 1 yet again. ^.^ hehehe. Since then I’ve been wanting to create a fan-art illustration of the two main characters, Alistair Theirin and Olivia Cousland, especially after the latest plot progression.

Summary: A few goofy texts sent to the wrong number, and Alistair quickly finds himself in too deep with an engaging stranger.  So, this is an idea that started out as a stupid “what-if” about Alistair’s probable abuse of emojis in the modern world, and turned into a giant, ridiculous, self-indulgent au in which there is no Blight, everybody gets to be happy, and Alistair Theirin’s life is not constantly threatened. I know wrong number AU’s have been done before, but we’re doing it anyway and sorry in advance. :D   (Rating warning: Explicit)
