Since I'm almost done with it now, here are some pictures of the process of making the bolero/very small gambeson for my Grey Warden cosplay 🫡
Some info under the cut for those curious about the process
I started by quilting the fabric, which meant I traced EVERY line that I was going to go other with the sewing machine
Then I pinned it with the fuzzy inside (idk how you call it) and sewed them together following the pattern I'd made earlier
After that I cut the pieces needed and lined them, though the latter part isn't shown in pics (my mom had to help me because I hurt my back, oops)
And now we're in the process of sewing everything together! Right now only the back and front are properly sawn together as well as both part of the sleeves, but the sleeves are only pinned to the rest of the bolero. I'm sewing the sleeves to the rest tomorrow and closing them up !
I'll also start sewing the tabard (not shown here) and probably start adding the little rivets to the vest !
