☽ The moon was shining bright atop her temple. Silence is her companion and so are her two watchdogs, calmly resting next to her throne. It is a rather quiet night, nothing but darkness around the shallow light of the moon but the scattered lanterns inside her palace illuminate the room with a soft shine. It is unwinding for the tired empress to sit surrounded by her own magic, allowing her exhausted limbs to rest and restore her magic slowly. Being an empress is not an easy task but her kingdom needs her and she is happy to reign over them. Humans return a lot if they are gracious enough. She offers them protection and they shower her in wonderful gifts and food — pastry is her favorite. She expects this night to be uneventful as always, but as soon as one of her dear companions arises from their sleep, she pays attention to the entrance of her temple. A lot of rage is perceptible from outside the giant doors and as her other beast rises and both start growling at the entrance, she decides to follow both creatures. The lunar empress reaches out for her wand, slams the rod to the ground which leads to a ray of light to emerge from it’s top, opening the doors to almost invite the trespasser inside. “Who dares to bother me at this hour?” It comes harshly over her peach pink lips, the ocean blue eyes staring at the entrance in an attempt to point out who the intruder was. Their rage on the other hand was very clear to the silver haired woman. The gold ornaments that surround her shining as bright as the light that has just surfaced from her scepter. “Show yourself!” ( @stainedblades )

Cast away and washed ashore the borders of this mortal realm which, by the second, drained each and every last drop of vigor from his once luminous and ethereal body, the dragon king collapsed upon the temple’s doorstep, incapable of telling the residing demi-goddess that strode towards him, what plight had led him here. He didn’t know her. Had never seen her face, nor heard her name before. Judging from the halo around her though, she was of divine descent, yet had chosen to rule over a mortal domain. The dragon king scoffed upon her foolery. He tried, at least, but ended up invoking a coughing fit that finally brought the proud king to his knees. As much as he loathed her seemingly poor choices, he desperately needed her help as to not perish right then and there - a pitiful shadow of his former self, gnarled at by beasts and at the mercy of yet another goddess.
