I WAS ON A PLANE AND I WATCHED IT(2017) AND THEY HAD TO TAKE OUT ALL THE SWEAR WORDS AND GOT THE CAST TO REDO THEIR LINES FOR A “Family Friendly” VERSION OF THE MOVIE AND FOR EDDIE’S LINE “THEY”RE GAZEEBOS, THEY’RE BULLSHIT!” THEY CHANGED IT TO “THEY’RE GAZEEBOS, THEY’RE BALONEY!” AND OMG DID I LAUGH

some things I noticed while watching IT 2017 in the theatre 12 times.

a small baby child (rip georgie) gets his arm torn off brutally: *audience silent*

ben gets beat and his stomach cut: *audience silent*

mike getting targeted, beat, face slammed into raw meat: *audience silent*

(fake) georgie gets shot in the head by his big brother: *audience silent* 

bev’s dad being creepy to her in tampon scene: *audience silent*

bev’s dad literally trying to r*pe her graphically on screen: *audience silent*

belch picks up a cat and henry points a gun at said cat: EVERYONE GASPS, PEOPLE LITERALLY SHOUTING AT THE SCREEN, SOMEONE STRAIGHT UP STOOD UP AND ALMOST LEFT UNTIL BUTCH INTERVENED, PEOPLE CLAPPING WHEN BUTCH SHOT AT HENRY, SOME PEOPLE WERE ACTUALLY OUTRAGED THAT THEY EVEN POINTED A GUN AT A CAT, (while disregarding the goat scene at the start????), “THIS IS SO FUCKED UP!!”.

I’m honestly surprised Owen Teague actually did his hairspray flame thrower scenes without assistance because there was a 90% chance he would have burnt down the entire movie set
