maybe I'm being too literal, but maybe the reason Jax lost his tail is because it's a suit.

I 100% believe that Caine made it so that no one could push the Blue button. Remember the voting? How hard it was at some points to pick an option that Caine didn't want you to pick, especially as the voting progressed? I'm just saying.

Even if they found a way to pick the Blue Button, Caine would have had a full blown crash out. Did anyone else notice that he seemed way more stable in this episode than previous ones, and even Bubble wasn't swearing anymore? Something or someone (maybe Caine himself through making Jax fake show an interest in him) stabilized him or his systems, and they couldn't afford to risk the players breaking Caine again with rejection.

But hey, maybe crashing Caine is the secret to getting out of the circus.
