If I had a nickel for all the times I have been adoring a character with muppet-like-face, not a thought in his eyes, short king who has a link with apples and an artistic taste. I would have 2 nickels which isn't a lot but wtf how did that happen twice.

Can we talk about Horror with a durag or a bonnet.. its not even a racial thing, its more like a safety thing cuz of his cracks-- for his s/o or when he's not tryna pick at it/hurt someone (going by diff peoples hc). Ive been thinking abt it and i wanna see it and im thinking of jus making a one-shot like this..
Nimona fixed the โI see you,โ quote and Iโm happy.
Bro i jus watched Nimona and the end when Bal is tryna stop Nimona from piercing herself with the statue, i loved it.
I never really liked when characters say โI see you, โฆโ or something in the lines like that WITHOUT A CONTEXT, like the whole story could be about that character WANTING SOME THING or sum.
but when Bal said that, I loved the movie every since. Because HE sees NIMONA, not a monster, not a random girl, not a shapeshifter, not a troublemaker.
Bal sees NIMONA without needing to hear her back story because he understood what she meant in the scene when she was in the prison to save him, โOnce everyone sees you as a villain, thatโs what you are. They only see you one way, no matter how hard you try.โ
Ballister and Nimona have the same problem but they process it differently. Bal, he wants to prove that he was innocent while Nimona didnโt care about proving herselfโ when she was also innocent, almost as if that paragraph is something she tells herself as well.
But the result of the accusations only gave them BOTH the title of โmonsterโ from the system, yet they both knew the lack of sense in people, since they knew about each other better than sum randos:
Bal: โDonโt call her that! Sheโs smart, kind, and quite sophisticated.โ
And to end it, I jus wanna put sum in real quick. At the end when Bal and Nimona were on top of the statue, Bal didnโt want to prove to the world that he was innocent anymore, he wanted to prove Nimona that he understands.
Something that he obviously lacked in the beginning of meeting her, but once Bal understood so did the world. As they watched the two on screen, the whole thing about Nimona turning into a monster was almost like fate.
She was SUPPOSED to damage the whole city, she was SUPPOSED to become a terrifying monster in some way. But because the Director accused Bal for killing the queen, and Bal was wanted, history was changed.
The Director saw her dream as a warning while her โwarningโ was just, fate.
