it all felt unreal like I was suspended in the air I could see everything below me and around me but it seemed so far away like I wasn't really a part of that life

Circles

it feels like my world turns faster than anyone else’s

one second it’s 2:30 in the afternoon

when the sun shines and everything feels warm

and then next second its 4:30 am

when my eyes are heavy and i want to sleep

but i’m trapped alone in my head

highs and lows

days and nights

my head stuck in fast forward

or maybe rewind

the deadly sadness can’t hold me for long

but neither can happiness

it all slips away in the cycle like socks in a dryer

as i’m spun in circles on the merry-go-round 

i reach out for a hand

for someone

all i ever grasp is the wind
