.β’:β Some unpackings β :β’.
I have been a bit overwhelmed with work lately and haven't had the energy to post anything. However, I will try to be more active and post at least once a week from now on. I have some photos that I want to share, so I don't think that will be a problem.
In the meantime, I have some new arrivals! First, two little ones from Penny's Box, LULUA Symphonic Poem, arrived. One of them was mine, and the other was ordered by my dears other half. Additionally, two outfits also arrived.
Dolls are well packaged. In their boxes, you will find the doll itself, an outfit, spare hands, a ring-like wing accessory, a head accessory, a character card, and a user manual. Additionally we got pair of boots for each doll as a bonus for early orders (you can see my pair in the photo, the white ones).
As usual, both dolls by Penny's box are well-made and easy to pose. However, upon closer inspection, the outfit looks slightly cheap. The head accessories also appear to have been slightly deformed during transportation. The manufacturer had warned about this beforehand, and it should be easily fixed by heating the headgear. However, I preferred to leave it as it is and simply not use it.
My name for my girl is Ame. Here are some photos of her and her friend.
I'm not sure if we will be buying any more of this series, not because we didn't like the dolls. They are really cute and lovely... but we have so many others that we are waiting for.
And then there was more unpacking. Shortly after, my little rabbit from the new Bonnie series arrived. Along with her, I managed to get the Light and Shadow twins. The twins have a slightly complicated story. I pre-ordered them through the same person who ordered Once in Sicily for me, and at that time, everything was fine. But then things got complicated. I still haven't received my boys from Sicily, and they haven't asked for a second payment for the twins. But I got lucky, and the person who ordered the Bonnie and Penny dolls for me had all the twins we needed. So, I bought both of the girls and passed on my pre-order to other people. I hope they will be patient enough to wait.
Anyway, let's get back to unpacking!
The twins' boxes were slightly damaged during transportation from China to our country, but both dolls were fine.
Gingerbread basically has spare "bunny" feet, ears with magnets, feral hands, some extra hands, feet for heels shoose, magnets, and some stuff to fix them on place. Additionally, I have a back of the head for when I want to use a non-plastic wig for him.
The doll is of good quality and feels pleasant to the touch. It is also easy to take different poses with and hold.
Now, the Light and Shadow twins.
This is my first MJD of this size, and they are surprisingly... a bit heavy. You can feel their weight when you hold them in your hands.
Base complection is - the doll, outfit, spare hands, bare feet, wings, accessories (for us it's staff), some joints, a key to change the position of their eyes, and a spare back of the head if you want to use a non-plastic wig. We also have a clean faceplate. I think we got this one because it was a pre-sale release.
I like these dolls, but I have some trouble with the positions because I'm not used to MJD of this size. Also, we switched some parts on our girls, like wigs, wings, and boots. Anyway, I want to use a non-plastic wig for my doll, but I haven't found one that I like yet.
Her name is Lilith. OwO And here's a photo to help you compare the size of all the newcomers to those I already have.
