Greetings!
I have pretty nice friends who are organizing a contest about svtfoe on Amino platform.
I explain, the contest is called “My Princess of Mewni”
The contest consists in invent your own princess or prince of Mewni, and publish a blog with a drawing of him/her.
You have to draw a picture of your own princess or prince of Mewni.
Your character can be woman, man, mewman, monster, human, or any species that appears in the cartoon.
It can even be the non-canon child of two characters in the cartoon if you wish.
(For example, a son of Eclipsa and Shastacan or Rhombulus and Moon… let your imagination fly).
You have to draw the wand, which may be holded by your character or it may be drawn to the side. It must be clearly drawn, remember that the wand is the reflection of the owner’s mind.
On one side of your character draw the marks of her/his cheeks in a big size, so it can be easily seen.
You have to write the name of your Amino user on top of your character to prevent someone stealing it.
Traditional:
On a sheet. Preferably the draw must be scanned.
If you can’t scan it, a photo is fine, but it’s important that the draw is clearly visible, so light, focus and framing should be taken care of.
You can use the draw technique that you want, you can use colors, markers, chalk, paint, or the material that you prefer. It’s not mandatory that the drawing is colored.
In a blog that must have the hashtag in the title: “#MiPrincesaDeMewniAlfrely” you must specify the following information:
First and last name of your princess or prince.
Title, for example “Moon the undaunted”.
You must include the name of a spell that your character has contributed to the spell book and mention what is the effect of that spell (size: one paragraph).
Personality of your character (approximately 100 words).
If your princess or prince isn’t mewman or human:
You must specify in which chapter, comic or book the species you chose appears and put an image of that chapter, comic or book where the character is seen.
In case it’s a child (starco, startom, tomco, starkie, etc), you must specify who her/his parents are and include an image where both characters appear.
(You don’t have to draw the parents, attach a screenshot of the chapter where they appear is enough)
You have until Monday 16th April at 11:59 p.m. (Mexico center area) to post your blog. After this time no more drawings will be accepted.
The contest is international, but it’s necessary that the blog is written in Spanish.
The judges will be the leaders and curators of the “Star vs. Las Fuerzas Del Mal” community (Amino ID: SVLFDM-Amino-SVTFOE), Alfredo and Ely (youtube channel “Alfrely”).
Will be evaluated the originality and creativity you have when creating the wand, title and spell of your character.
Everyone has a great imagination, so there are possibilities that there is a tie for originality, in that case (and only in that case) the quality of the draw will be evaluated (proportion, anatomy, perspective, coloring, etc …)
Reminder: It’s not necessary that it be a “great drawing”, you can win by the originality of your idea, but, in case of a tie, you can have an advantage if your draw is well done.
1st place: Physical comic # 1 Star vs the Forces of Evil “Deep trouble” signed by Daron Nefcy (there’s video of evidence that is really signed by her).
2nd place: The book “Star and Marco’s Guide to Mastering Every Dimention”.
3rd place: Star vs the forces of Evil comic “Deep trouble”.
It doesn’t matter if you don’t live in Mexico, the shipping costs are covered.
The winners will be announced in a video that will be uploaded to the YouTube channel “Alfrely” on Wednesday, May 30th.
The winners will be contacted through a private message in Amino to send their prizes.
The winners will have 3 days to send their data to be able to send their prize, otherwise, the prize will be awarded to the next place.
Second and third place prizes may take a while depending on availability in the store.
Grounds for disqualification:
Not respect the rules of the Amino community.
Don’t write the hashtag correctly.
Publish or edit your blog after the deadline.
Don’t comply with all the requirements of the drawing and description.
Upload more than one character.
Use characters created by other people or characters from other series, movies, books, etc… The drawing must be 100% invented by you.
Steal images from other artists.
Choose a species that doesn’t appear in the series, book or official comics.
Exceed with the description of the drawing.
If your draw is a recolor of another drawing.
If your draw contains image editing. Everything must be drawn by you.
