So I have listened to it properly, it's meant to be Battle of the Heroes. However, there is a section of BotH that I cannot unhear Vod'e An in, and frankly, the more I think on that, the more I love it. "You were my brother, Anakin... Okay, does anybody have any recs on fanfics where Anakin had a sister (Doesn't matter if she's older or younger) and she became a dark-sider? Maybe even fully Sith? Because I just spiraled with this idea and the sister was trying to make him fall, and at some point she realizes that if the Jedi look bad then Anakin's more likely to fall (I can't remember the motivation behind this but just roll with it) and Ling story short, she started fighting like Maul did against Obi-Wan, then threatened Ahsoka to bring more parental-protective instincts out, and Obi-Wan panicked and cut her chest open right in front of Anakin (The little shit had Repressor Cuffs on or some shit, IDK he couldn't really fight), which results in a huge argument and ends with Anakin going to Palpatine's office while wearing her hair tie in silent grief because he had already lost his mother, and right when he finds his sister again his (how the kriff do I use strike-through on this site) -father- master just killed her in a blind panic, and this can allow for Obi-Wan angst as well because of the reminder of Maul, the threat of losing his -children- Padawans, and realizing that *Oh, the new Sith girl was Anakin's sister, I just killed her* and AAAAAAAAAAA I WANT TO READ THIS SO BAD BUT I CANT WRITE FIGHT SCENES FOR SHIT AND THAT'S THE MAJORITY OF THE DAMN FIC IN MY MIND PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME HERE!

Kaminoans are trippy

I haven't read a spider's ass through Legends, but let's look at the canon we get from Clone Wars and the Bad Batch and combine that with the VERY little I know about legends! Under a cut because it gets long.

I remember seeing somewhere that Kaminoans are clones themselves, and that combined with how Nala Se acts in The Bad Batch got me thinking about their culture. Because Nala Se shows a LOT about their culture. For one thing, why would they need to clone themselves if they have the reproductive organs that would have been used before they had their technology? It makes me think that they are deliberately choosing not to allow mutations in their genes by instead cloning the original Kaminoans who survived a bad bottleneck event, and as such their culture grew to see themselves as having hit that perfection they strive for. So now they try to hit what would be considered "perfect" for other species as well, and for the Clones that we know and love, that is that perfect soldier. Hence the decommissioning. They view defects as a threat to the perfection of the species. And when Nala Se learns that she had killed a clone who could have saved Kamino (Fives), I think she would feel guilty about that, given her clear care for at least SOME of the clones. Aside from making sure Tantiss went down in flames, she was trying to atone for having destroyed the perfection of her species and another. Anyway, Nala Se is not a solitary Kaminoan. She is STRONGLY attached to Omega, and that combined with a few scenes where background Kaminoans are talking to each other leaves me inclined to believe they are a social species. Meaning they can get attached. But if they get attached to someone who would be a hindrance to the perfection they strive for, that adds complications to getting rid of the threat. That's why they deliberately distance themselves from the clones. So they don't hurt themselves trying to do what they must.

Does this justify any of what they do to the clones? No, it does not, not in our eyes. But it does shine a new light on how they work.
