Heart and repost if you love ACE!!!!!!!!!! (I love ACE sooooo much right now)
The GLAMLITE Kiss Makeup set! This was definitely worth the price and the quality is beautiful! Obsessed!!!
Paul Stanley always looks amazing all the time teehee :>
I feel for Paul
Listening to excepts of his book -- he mentions that KISS was more than a band to him. It was like creating a family for him. No wonder the departures of the original members really hurt him.
"Gene was in it for Gene. Whatever the reasons, he didn’t share the collective mentality I had. I found security in the band—it provided something lacking in my life. I wanted to belong. I needed that sense of family, of camaraderie, of a support group. So for me it was always about the team, and I coveted the band above all else"
i realllyyy agree with that. i honestly feel like the band was definitely really an emotional part of paul's life, but i dont entirely agree that gene was in it for gene. i think it was probably gene's ego talking but i believe the band is also gene's LIFE
this guy......
this is me and @radioactivebat
im i the only one who isn't big on the kiss avatar thing??
guys, this is actually the end.
i am forever grateful for this band. im someone who has been through some of the hardest moments in my life, and discovering this band and the band just existing was like the second coming of jesus (lol)
i collected merch, later started a blog, dreamed of seeing them in concert, spent so long researching kisstory, collecting all the autobiographies
then the day i went to see them in seattle my world actually changed. i cried during the concert, blew out my voice, and finally realized my dream actually came true.
from the bottom of my heart, i am thankful to everyone apart of kisstory. thank you paul stanley, gene simmons, ace frehley, peter criss, eric carr, vinnie vincent, bruce kulick, tommy thayer, eric singer, and so many others who have carried on the legacy of kiss for 50 years and forever.
rest in peace to eric carr, a wonderful drummer who put his love into this band, and may his memory live on. he would've been proud to see where the band is now, and the legacy he helped create.
thank you to the kiss fandom, kissblr, and other fans, young and old.
thank you to paul stanley, someone who suffered bullying all his childhood, to gene who moved to the U.S knowing no english, his mother a holocaust survivor. to the empire they were able to build with what they loved most, music.
Truly a bittersweet moment we are living through.
THANK YOU KISS
