TSS CORRUPTION AU (Updated Design for Avys) ππͺ½

( I wanted Avys to look more bird shaped in his corruption form, so I decided to redesign his entire cloak to give it that "bird shape".
I am currently rethinking about my corruption au since I want it to follow a similar path to my TSS rewrite, except if it took a bad path. I don't want to say much since I'm reworking this au, but Avys still becomes distant by denying the events that happen and acting like everything is fine. His bad end in this au would be: never being able to open up and not fully understanding his negative feelings about his traumas )
( Finally got around to gathering the many forms of eternity girl from my rewrite au!! I have yet to write her in the rewrite but I'm slowly getting there now that I'm almost reaching part 3!! Also I liked the drawing I drew for the reel so much, I decided to use it for her character redesign sheet
Info that is kept the same for this rewrite:
- Eternity girl pink version from webtoon, eternity girl mint version from Wattpad, and eternity girl black and white version from Doom's Night animation
- majority of her plot points in original tss stories
Personal headcanons for this rewrite:
- massive amounts of lore and tragic backstory
- has a dream form that I made so that she can interact with Soule more
- just a lot of lore I worked on that I can't explain since it's all spoilers
- fun fact, her favorite is Soule (as if it wasn't obvious enough). She does interact with the other star one members but it's mainly to help them, guide them, or to make sure they are safe

In my rewrite, GAIS are the three-member rival boy group who are insanely popular and always winning awards. When Star One start to rise in popularity and start winning awards, Keith begins to get even more frustrated because he never expected his group to become second place. To him, losing to Star One is the most humiliating and unbelievable thing that could happen to him. )
( A step forward and he takes the sacrifice to give the others a tomorrow. A painful farewell but he knows the future is bright. The stars greet him back.

Wdym it's been five years since the Doom's night animation was released?? π«ͺ I remember when the teaser poster was first released. I was literally doing zoom classes and saw the poster in between the breaks. And then I watched the animation when it got released and was completely enamored π€§ I could just cry π Fun fact: one of the big reasons why I decided to learn how to draw txt was so that I could draw fanart of the Doom's Night. I saw so much cool art during that time but I was a year too late π₯² oh well, now I have a whole week for myself π
Really simple drawing but it was unbelievably really difficult to complete. I would have made it more blue, but I like the color purple, it looks more similar to the first scene of the animation with the die. That's it of Doom's Week, stay tuned for next year!! )

Usually, I would color Soule's outfit the same way it is shown in the eternally mv and then add a black color layer using the ibis paint effects, but this time, I decided to only rely on grayscale and values. Yes, most of the art for this year's Doom's Week is from Soule's perspective, I couldn't come up with anything for the others π But I am already planning some art for next year based on the others, so stay tuned for that )
Doom's Week Day 2: No More Tomorrow to Dream About

( Soule looks up at the red sky where the dragon was. The dragon has taken everything and everyone from him, leaving him with nothing but four dying stars.
I actually don't have much to say about this. I just really like it. I had a different idea on how to shape everything (like with a shadow rather than rubble), but I like the abstract and totally not familiar shape of a certain destructive figure looming over Soule. also, everyone is supposed to be from Soule's (Soobin if we want to be exact) perspective, so the top of taho's head is shown because Soule sees him from that view. why purple? I just like the color purple, it contrasted well from the red. )
( You forgot about this anime didn't you?? π€¨π«΅ I didn't because I know damn well we're never getting any more TSS π anyways, happy one year since this surprise ten minute TSS anime, I am begging on my knees for cloverworks to do more π₯²
thoughts on the anime:
after a year of looking at these designs, I still don't like them. In fact, I think I dislike them even more. They could never replace the og TSS webtoon designs (especially you viken, you'll never be wolfcut Beomgyu viken). but ignoring the designs, I really like how the anime was able to capture the key details of TSS. Even though I can't understand cause there's still no english subtitles, I managed by reading both the messed up English and Spanish closed captions and deciphering their words myself. I think the lack of proper translations (and proper promo) is a reason why hardly anyone watches this
fun fact: I've watched this video almost daily when I do my skincare. this is like Doom's Night 2.0 for me )
( I've been watching wuthering waves gameplay since last year around this time, but never got around to drawing a full artwork. But this quest impacted me so much, I had to draw something. It's one of the few moments we get to see a new side of rover, similar to the phrolova quest (which I love, I love that quest so much). I hope we get more of rover being human, because yeah, it's cool when he's like a hero and a savior, but I like when he's just a human (the luuk quest gave us more of that but I crave more). We also got insane rover lore and I cried like three times. I would like to draw more wuthering waves art, but it might be simpler than this. )
late drawing cause you can't rush art βοΈ(and you can't churn it through machine slop, I'm talking to you, bighit) this was inspired by the act:lovesick VCR when they are riding the train and seeing the outdoors. I drew them all in their introduction film outfits and with little crowns because why not. they also have their tribe aspects because TSS will always show up in my art
The first time I decided to just stick with the sketch because I felt a finished artwork would ruin the idea and vision I saw when I watched the prelude video (also because I don't have time to draw a complete artwork these days). I wanted the drawing to look like txt were meshing into one because that was what I kept seeing when they were moving and pushing each other. I also added an extreme version of their tribe aspects (ears, eyes, horns, wings, thorns) and made it seem like those aspects were forming onto one another (ex: yeonjun has another eye like Taehyun). I quite literally couldn't stop staring at this because I liked how I drew it, this might just be another style to my short list of art styles.
side note: txt should try the concept of body horror, but not the "gory shock value" body horror, they should try the "beautiful metaphor of being together as one" body horror
( it's been like a month since I last posted here.... happy Viken day! I originally wanted to draw a separate art for his birthday but I don't have the time cause I am busy. Not only that, this gave me an idea. I could draw star one's birthdays with holidays! For example, Soule's birthday is in May, which has mother's day, so you can assume what I'll draw on his birthday. No tiny Soule this time, I couldn't figure out how to add him (or what object he'd represent) to the drawing.

( not my most favorite drawing for the anniversary but I had no energy to draw anything else or anything more complex than this after making five separate sketch ideas
based on the title, the idea is there, star one are letting fate decide, but not quite. Soule is in charge of the die and is reaching to it knowing what's to come. Viken does not allow for fate to decide and is holding his hand back. Taho trusts and follows Soule's decision. Eugene has already been given the brunt of fate and is now holding back, worried to see more. Avys is hesitant but doesn't go against it as he also reaches for the die.
I still really like last year's anniversary drawing, so maybe that's why it was very intimidating to try to top that. anyways, who wants to bet there will be no tss content all throughout this year? )
THE STAR SEEKERS: REWRITE THE DESTINY (MEET GAIS π)

( I am super excited to introduce you all to GAIS, the trio boy group that has been going for three years, on top of the charts, and are Star One's rivals:
Em Keith π:
- An actual canon character from the star seekers Wattpad version that I decided to vomit a ton of headcanons on. Acts the same as the Wattpad version, I just added a flavor blasting of backstory
- Leader / Main Dancer / Main Visual
- Arch nemesis of Eugene and finds Soule's leadership skills as lacking
- Has crystal magic (not a common ability, making him and his group unique among the other magic groups)
- Was born in the U.S, then moved to Korea at a young age
- Won a music show competition but dropped the offer to debut in CORE Entertainment (his group's company)
- Has three years of training
Kim Sooho βοΈ:
- he is an oc based on the concept of a GAIS member (Keith was the only one mentioned), so my first OC for this au
- Main Vocalist
- Usually keeps to himself, but gets easily mad and will yell back (ex: losing in a game)
- Has light magic, which is ironic since he likes to dress in dark clothes and is always seen with an agitated, gloomy face
- Has five years of training
Lim Haneul πͺ:
- he is also an OC based on the concept of a GAIS member, so my second and last OC for this au
- Youngest / Main Rapper
- Is a follower and copies any remarks Keith makes (if Keith insults star one, he does so too and if Keith tells him to do something, he will)
- Usually bubbly and is actually willing to be nice to Star One, but due to his loyalty to Keith and his group, he will turn his back and seem two-faced
- Has copycat/mimic magic (ex: he will copy Keith's magic onstage so that there's a consistent magic set. If magic was pushed further)
